authentication framework for jsp sanuji23-Jul-09 18:15 sanuji 23-Jul-09 18:15  Hai All, Is there any role based security(authentication) framework for jsp web development.Means that depending on the Role(eg:manager,employee,other..etc) we restrict the pages to the user.To implement such project we need to customize each time depending on the nature of project requirement.If a framework exist it may be useful.Your responses are valuable than answers. This web application will be invoked from an HTTP request (from another application - application B) . Application A should then send the XML file to Application B and return back to Application A with returned data . It helps to use a proper xml editor to ensure validity, but thats up to you. There are many good free xml editors, just have a look on google. VSTS (Visual Studio Team System) being the best solution. But the installation and configuration of VSTS is not very easy and also the price of the software is at the higher end. VSS (Visual Source Safe) is cheaper and easier to configure. Is there a website or group anyone knows of where people with extra licenses like these can swap or sell them? I'd love to get our hands on some additional products or have these go to some dev teams that can't afford a full license cost. I'd hate for them just to sit around in my email and not get used.
