By reverting to good pre change code and reapplying my updates one at a time and checking in I managed to find the problem.

The ToolStripContainer didn't present its size/anchoring in the Designer (a separate rant), so I was editing it in myform.designer.cs. The container had 1 toolbar and 1 menu (both with the grip hidden to keep them from being moved), but the container was 2.5 rows high. The toolbar and menu were both 24px tall, so I set the containers height to 48. That caused it to puke. I increased it by one pixel to 49 and it was happy.

Yeah. I probably need to find the time and test this with 2k10 and see if it's still present. Reporting a 2k8 bug at this point is probably futile.

Im trying to read word document in asp.net 1.1 with following code.
added required ddls too.(i.e Microsoft Office 10.0 Object Library,Microsoft Word 11.0 Object Library)
but it is throwing error {Access is denied}
plz help!

A couple of things missing here

1 - why did you not ask in the ASP.NET forum
2 - what is the filepath ?

Array.Copy is what you need - something like

byte[] a = new byte[] { 0, 1, 2, 3 };
byte[] b = new byte[] { 4, 5, 6, 7 };
byte[] c = new byte[a.Length + b.Length];
Array.Copy(a, c, a.Length);
Array.Copy(b, 0, c, a.Length, b.Length);
foreach (byte item in c)
{
    Console.WriteLine(item);
}

I assume you have a web browser control you're working with. You can access the HTML from that control, and you can use all sorts of methods to change the HTML, from replacing the document with an edited one, to using the Document object to manipulate the HTML

I use the Document object to manipulate HTML, but the thing is initially for a fraction of second the old(original) text is visible and then that is replaced by New text.
How to avoid this using delay in fraction of seconds.
I want the new text to be directly visible to user.
How to do this?

I would expect you cannot. A fraction of a second, that's the issue here ?

Set it to invisible in the designer. Show it a second after "NavigateComplete", and the user won't see the data change during load Smile | :)

..or overlay it with a nice picturebox with a "Please hold, loading data" picture.
