Not really related to ASP.NET.

But I will try to answer your question. AFAIK TFS is built upon a SQL Server, so the question you should ask is: "Does SQL Server 2008 support parallel DB restore?" (Will there be a newer version of SQL Server ? 2010?

I think answer is no.. Each Engine can Restore only one db at a time, I have seen this upto SQL server 2008.

hi ,
I am using Intelligencia.UrlRewriter.dll to rewrite my page url.
it work very well on my local computer but when i upload this page on my web server

url rewrite not work it gave an error. The page cannot be found

HTTP Error 404 - File or directory not found.
Internet Information Services (IIS)

plz suggest me how can i correct this problem.

Well, seems like your rewriting is not correct. The IIS writes every request (with URL) to a log, check this log to see the URL which causes the error.

Did you implemented the UrlRewriter?

Why do you need a dll to do URL rewriting ? Why not write your own code ? Did you read the docs that come with the dll, or ask in a forum dedicated to people who use this dll ?

Hi, I have populated a dropdownlist using javascript.After that whenever I post the page using any button or anything I get the following error :

Invalid postback or callback argument. Event validation is enabled using <pages enableEventValidation="true"/> in configuration or <%@ Page EnableEventValidation="true" %> in a page. For security purposes, this feature verifies that arguments to postback or callback events originate from the server control that originally rendered them. If the data is valid and expected, use the ClientScriptManager.RegisterForEventValidation method in order to register the postback or callback data for validation.

Please give me a solution to this problem.

If you want to know how to do this. Here [^]is the example with code samples.

You can not save the array as it is. Instead convert in into a some type of sepertated string and save.
Do the reverse while reading it back from the cookie.

Port : 25

When i run my Application and clicking on the send button , i get the Following Error

System.InvalidOperationException: A recipient must be specified. at System.Net.Mail.SmtpClient.Send(MailMessage message) at _Default.SendEmail(String from, String to, String cc, Int32 port, String subject, String message, String Host) in c:\Vuyiswa\Email_test\Default.aspx.cs:line 51

As suggested by error and looking at your code i found that you have not add the recipient whom you want to send the mail.I think you miss that
Just Add
mail.To = new System.Net.Mail.MailAddress(to,"Test E-mail");

Thanks a lot for reminding me that part. i have added it and i get a new Error

System.Net.Mail.SmtpException: Syntax error, command unrecognized. Am Currently using my companies mail server to test. and doing Configuration to suite me will not be a good idea. can i use my Dev machine to test this. i have enabled relying on my System and i see there is my IP.

Why not use your own mail server, from your ISP, to test ? Or just tell your boss, I need a proper mail server to test this code.
