Hi everyone
I am facing very wiered problem ..I am getting time out expired ..while executing procedure through .net... though query runs very fine from SQL
and it doesn't appear all time .. after some time .. say few hours .. time out expired starts coming for specific query only
I am using the following query

I would try rewriting the query to use joins instead of running 3 queries in one, that being said, it doesn't seem like the sql query would be that slow.
Also, you are not opening the con object anywhere are you? Because if the connection is already open the dataAdapter will not close it.
I suggest you bust out SQL Profiler on the server and take a look at what is going on. Filter the trace down to your database and see how often this stored proc is getting called. Check to see if any db connections are left open.
Also, view the current activity on the sql server. See if any locks are occuring. I did notice your one query is missing the with (no lock).

I've never used the with no lock in a query (never needed to) but I guess you are doing that for a reason.

I'm trying to populate the Server attribute of a very simple MsRdpClient implementation from values in a query string but I'm having trouble.
Ideally the intent here is to simply have my application call this one page for RDP connections to all windows servers.

Basically if there is anything in the query string its ignored and the page won't load. Here's a sample screencap - http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/8278/tsclient.png If I remove the query string and just call rdp.aspx directly, it opens an RDP session to my webserver just fine -- so I know the OCX is working correctly.

yeh that is what i am asking.
I can do like this i think
abc dd = new abc(2, asd)
but here i am giving new value myself whereas i dont want to add any value. i should get value from _abc and _xyz. So in this case what parameters should i add to get this instance thing working. And so that i can do something like this

You can make a constructor with any or no paramaters.
You can also have multiple constructors.
You can set the value of abcID in the contructor (via passing it as a variable). Or you could set it later by updating a public property. It is for you to decide.

here are the steps of explaining my question.

in first row first colum i have dragged Tree view. On clicking tree view's sub link different pages come up with different size in contentplace holder. if page size is samll than Tree view doesnt move down. if page size increases tree view control moves into the middle.
my question is that how can i make it not to change its position whatsoever size of the other page is.
help would be appreciated.

I used 2 tab panels in this tab container...In each panel i am using separate user controls .
Named the tab panel as A and B
In Each user control i used edit button..while clicking the edit button, the user control page switch to edit mode with update and cancel button...
Without clicking the cancel button of edit mode in page B, if i switched to tabpanel A of this tab container and come back to previous tab panel B..
the edit mode is existing with update and cancel button in tab panel B..
it should be reloaded once again as in normal mode....which event should used to reload the user control

However, you could create a nullable int
If a type is not already nullable, you can create a nullable version by adding a question mark onto the end of the name of the type.
