well if you textbox entry is stored in an integer
e.g. int gender = SomeMethodThatConvertsTextToAnInteger(myTextBox.Text);
you could make gender a nullable int
int? = SomeMethodThatConvertsTextToANullableInteger(myTextBox.Text);
then when you pass that value to the SP (using the code supplied earlier in this thread) its value will be null.
Or you can say somethiong like
if (myTextBox.Text == string.Empty)
yourCommand.Parameters.AddWithValue("@Gender",DbNull.Value);
else
yourCommand.Parameters.AddWithValue("@Gender",myTextBox.Text);

My original code is this that U have adviced but I want to do this job by procedure. SO that I dont have to code all this line or use if else.

Sorry, I am not really following what you are trying to do. You must pass teh parameter to the SP (because you may give it a value) so you need to pass some value (even if it is null) to the parameter - there's just no getting away from that.

Hi All The Subject Says It All! I Need Code So That I Can Track UPS, USPS, DHL & Fedex Package's In C#. I Have Tried A Few On Code Project But They Only Support Tracking Via 1 Courier! I Need An All In One For My Package Tracker App!
Things Im Looking For!
1. The Exact Status(examples: USPS(Processed), UPS(In Transit - On Time))
2. The Description Of the Status(examples: USPS(Your Items Where Delivered In ... On 4/4/04 @ 12:00pm)
3. if error is thrown i want the exact error! Like On UPS it would give something Like (No Tracking Info Available
if i think about something else i will update this post

The obvious way to do this is to see if these vendors offer a webservice you can call to get this info.

Well, then you're screwed. Where did you hope to pull this information from, thin air ? Perhaps you need to buy a book or two and work through them. I assume this is not paid work, because if it was, you'd be a liar and a thief. So, choose someone simpler for your first project, and work up to this.
