I checked and there is no ultrawebgrid in the .NET framework. I suggest you ask whoever wrote the control. Also, do you really want to use AJAX, or do you want to use a library that hides AJAX from you, like the ASP.NET AJAX library ? Be specific when asking the people who know something about the control you're using.

About sending UDP packets in vb6

i am using vb6.
i have to make a application as stated below:
1)data will be in UDP format &
2)this data is send to the another pc which is NOT in the LAN.
As i have used winsock control for udp and its working fine within a LAN but not working in remote PC behind LAN.
its urgent.

1 - VB6 is outdated and unsupported. It was always a bad language, now it's a terrible choice

It`s obvious and the error is self explanatory. The MailAddress class constructor expects a parameter that you need to pass in. And i guess there no need for this line which causes the error as it is referred nowhere in your code.

OK, this is far too hard for you. You should buy a book and work through some basics before you throw around terms like AJAX ( useless for what you want ), because you read about them on the toilet. Hi,

I have created a webpage that connect to a DataSet. The layout of the app is as follows:

Page.aspx

DAL Folder
dsTSQ.xsd

DataConnector
IConnect.cs
Connect.cs

When I put the code to save a record in the save_click event the code looks like this:

dataConnector.UpdateJob(this.dsTSQ);

The problem is that when I try to input the dsTSQ dataset the app says that I might be missing an assembly reference. I have checked and the access modifier for dsTSQ is public.

I have made a new instanciation of the dataset but when I save nothing gets written to the database. Does anyone have any thouhts?

Hi,
I want to create a page with Ajax support that has a table showing 20 products the use may buy. The user must fill the quantities (for the desired products) and leave some (or all) blank then click the submit button. When he clicks submit I'll execute some code that update the db order table and fill the html with the next 20 products (if any), that's why I'm gonna use ajax.
My questions are:
1) What controls should I use to repeat the table lines 20 times (or less if there is not 20 items left)
2) How do I trace what products have quantities not empty?

hi!! i am using a 3rd party dll in my project to html messaging like this message board in codeproject or a scrap like thing in orkut.
but every time when i pressed the send button of message it gives me error and message is not stored in db.

Sorry. I was still mad at you for earlier. I didn't mean to make fun. You can disable the validation but it is a security risk. The built in request validation blocks people from using scripts to hack your server.

I can't help you with that one. I've never turned off the validation on an internet site. I've only turned it off on a intranet site which has less risk.

If you turn off validation it's up to you in your codebehind to validate all input before using it. Google "SQL injections" if you are writing to a database for example.

Request validation is used for defending against various attacks such as XSS(Cross site scripting), Sql Injection etc....

Turning of this validation can make your page prone to such attacks. For this purpose microsoft has published an Anti XSS library that helps in validating the user input when such automatic validation is turned off.

Please Help or reslove this prob.My pro is that -- my asp page is open which includes two radiobuttons,and when i selected both radio buttons,both are checked,so please give a suggestions hw will i resolve it so that only one radiobutton can be checked at atime...

Use a Radio Button List (only one option may be checked at a time).

Or write some javascript to uncheck one when the other is checked.
