.NET CF C# call c++ dll Type compatibility

Hi, I am writing a c++ dll for C# under .NET CF.

I found there are no compatibility problems for int, char when c++ dll communicates with c#.

But I found compatibility problems concerning char*, char**, char[]...
eg.
in c++: void addRecord(char* filename, int mark, char* result);
in c#: [DllImport("test.dll")]
public static extern void addRecord(string filename, int mark, string result);

It works when only int or char is passed.
How about those char*, what should I declare this function in c#?

I guess char alone should work for char* as well. Reason being there are no pointers in C# unless you write unsafe code. Also, parameters are passed by reference unless specified otherwise. Not sure though.

you need a library to do that, there's no support in C# directly. As you're a student, you'll want something free, I think there's a few libraries on Source Forge that will do what you want.

ColumnHeader is the closest one that I've found, but it seems that it's conbined with ListView.

I needs columnheader that I can set its location, size.

did you recognise the property "Columns" of System.Windows.Forms.ListView? It's a collection of columns that should have all properties you'll need.

thanks for help. but it no totally is what i want. i wish to having a program can remote the desktop for others pc but the better is it can remote by background. and this will not disturb others user.
