Hi There,
I have 2 link button add country,add state.On click of these button I am opening a popup window.I am adding new country and state detail from this popup window.When I click on add button this popupwindow disappears I think because of postback.I to prevent this window from disappearing.If any body knows please help.

Is any way by which, can rename the dll(vb.net), if we dont have project of that dll???

You can rename the dll, but namespaces inside it wont change.

You can rename the DLL there is no Problem, but now if you have other DLL or Pages that reference the DLL it will break the Application, but if you just want a new name for it then just rename it and compile it with a new name and a new DLL will be created for you.

Hello,

I'm designing masterpage in ASP.NET.

For designing i'm using

which call css class.

My concern is i want to call javascript method in css class.

Technically can it be happened. If yes then how (with example)?

If not then any other alternative?

Can you explain what you are trying to do? CSS files are not code files. They are only meant for designing aspect of a page or a control.

Hai all

I am using crystal report 10.2 version, while i export the report to MSExcel(Data Only) the report is exported ,but the output is not in correct format the Columns are replaced, for example,
in my report i have 3 column.
Column 2 is blank, so data in column 3 will be replace in column 2.
Please Help me

This could be a postback issue. Do you try to read the text after a postback, by any chance? If the viewstate of the label isn't enabled, it could revert to the default value (difficult to say without seeing the code, tho')

Hi,

I am using Strongly Typed Dataset(.Xsd) to keep the values fetched from the database. And i am using three tyre architecture in my project.

I am using this Typed dataset not only to fetch the records from database and also to store the new values into the database.

I am getting a problem while i am trying to assign NULL for an integer field.

if (txtExperience.Text.Trim() == "")

row.Experience = Convert.ToInt32(txtExperience.Text);

I am getting the error below

Data is Null. This method or property cannot be called on Null values in strong typed dataset

I dont know how to pass the null value.
Pls help me!

Hi,

I have records in hidden field that are assigned to array that contains phone numbers.

I am getting each phone number and fire store procedure so that sms will send to that number.

My Application is too slow because if I send 1000 sms.

How can I Do ?

because of for loop it takes time? or any other solution to increse the speed of the application

Hi,

I hope you don't build an automatic sms spam application Smile | :)

What you could try is to use a seperate thread to send the sms. So your application will not freeze, the user can use the app while it sends the sms in the background. Search with google and keywords "Consumer Producer pattern".

when i click on some link to open a aspx page ,it load master page .as there is same master page in all of my aspx pages ,how could it possible to load master page onece and view on all the aspx pages
