Hi, recently I've been updating my website on my computer and then I copy the pages that I've updated and place them on the server but then I'll have to request these pages from the browser the first time coz it would be slow the first time coz they are not precompiled.
So, I was thinking of precompiling these pages only and not the whole website.
I don't want to precompile the whole website coz the web.config file and the app_data folders on my computer are different from those on the server. So, how exactly can I do that?

Why did you ask if you didn't want the answer ?
What you're asking is dumb anyhow - so it's a bit slow the first time, because it's compiling. You want to do extra work to spend the time compiling locally in order to save the same time on the server ? Just get over it - the first page request takes a few moments. So what ?

when i go to http://localhost I get an authentication required page popped up. What username and password should I use? My Windows account or what?

This is comming because of Windows Authentication mode selected on your Virtual Directory.

Yes
If you want to stop it you can set Anonumous Access for that folder or can configure IE for automatic login with your current credentials.
Please let me know if you need more information on that .

Start > Run > Inetmgr [ It will open IIS ]
>Right Click on Default Sites / Virtual Directory
>Properties
>Goto Directory Security Tab
>Click On Edit

Close Browser. Restart IIS , then Open a new browser Try it again . It should work !!

I know how to set the src of a iframe, for example, I can use

However how can I get the current src of a iframe after user clicking
several times on the iframe??? when I try to get the value of frame1.
Attributes("src"), what I get is the original src I set to it.
How can I do this?

Hi, i have written code to upload a csv file and process it and allow the users to download it. Only the login users can download this file. once the processing of file is completed, when user click to download link or any other link in the file the session is loss. why it happening like that.
Is the following code can ends the session??
