If you don't want to use IIS for sending main, then the replacement is Database.
You can send mail over Internet using SQL Server.
DB: Master
Procedure: xp_sendmail

In our organization we have xp_sendmail stored procedure in MS SQL Server.
Details of this are in MSDN

Not possible..
when install IIS on your server there is option of SMTP server that is fully responsible for mail transfer.
even if you are able to third party tool for the SMTP server then is is possible..

the question is how to send mail without iis, may you can host your site on linux server there is no need of web server

every developer is very known about smtp is one server of IIS. it can not run without IIS.

If you don't have IIS installed, then you can't run ASP.NET, so why are you asking here ?

Sending mail does not require IIS, it requires a mail server to send through, which IIS by default, is not. I don't know what these other people are telling you.

Hi
There are 7 records in my table.
I want to get the one by one record when each client made a request

e.g.

Records in my table

1 A
2 B
3 C
4 D
5 E
6 F
7 G

If I click on index.aspx 1 A will be called.

If Other Customer click on index.aspx then 2 B record should be fetch and so on

for 8th customer again 1 A should be called.

How can I do?

You'll need to persist the index in some fashion so that it is available to all requests to your site. Use an application level variable.

In general you don't really need to care about the actual contents of the row. If you have the index of the row being deleted you can look it up in the datasource.

Why would that be better? Visible = false doesn't render the column at all. Width = 0px does render the column thus transmitting unnecessary or unneeded data.

Instead of visible=false, I use this CSS:

.HiddenColumn
{
display:none;
}

Then set styles of the column in the gridview like so:

<asp:BoundField DataField="AccrualRegisterID" HeaderText="AccrualRegisterID">
    <HeaderStyle CssClass="HiddenColumn" />
    <ItemStyle CssClass="HiddenColumn" />
</asp:BoundField>

The data is then available in codebehind.

Someone's gotta be the last to know, but why is it always me?

I have an web application and want to write urdu in a textbox.
I have achieved it in desktop but want to achieve it in asp.net
The code which i used in desktop is:

InputLanguage.CurrentInputLanguage = InputLanguage.FromCulture(Application.CurrentCulture);
InputLanguage.CurrentInputLanguage = InputLanguage.FromCulture(new CultureInfo("ur-PK"));

Please help.

It seems you have absolutely not idea about ASP.NET. If you did, you'd know there is no way that any C# code you may happen to write, can do anything to a client's machine, apart from send it HTML. Therefore, you can't change the windows language with ASP.NET. that you think you may be able to, means you're in desperate need of doing a very basic course before attempting anything remotely serious ( you sure should not be doing paid work, or expecting that you're writing useful code in ASP.NET at this point )
