...is the "Most Popular" (articles) box on the home page to actually list the top 5 most popular articles. It's been frozen in time since 1492.

Ah, I stand corrected. But then I question the utility of such a list since it's unlikely to every change until someone posts an article whose popularity is > 13.5 (the popularity of Mike Peretz's article Asynchronous Method Invocation[^]. Mind you, I'm not questioning the quality of the article(s), just the usefulness of an unchanging list at the home page.
Might I suggest a better metric for the contents of the list would be "Most popular articles in the last N units of time" where N could be a week, month, etc.

Hmmm, true. Yet, I can't help but feel the real-estate used by an unchanging list on the home page could be put to better use. Anyway, I'll stop whining now.

When I modify my articles, they don't show up in the latest updates on the home page (even though I make sure the "Mark as updated" checkbox is checked. I think I remember when Chris gave me the ability to modify my articles he warned me this would happen. Is there a technical reason for this? Can we get that changed?
[EDIT] I guess they do now, but again, only after the cache(s) catch up.

It has C++ content in it in that it shows how to use the code within C++, hence relevant to a C++ audience.

There is a single member who Vote me as 1 . There is 10 votes against this message and Rating is 1.58 . I don't know How many of them "Reports This message " .

I am frequently being served 'Last 10 Updates' from 24 Nov 2008. Refreshing the page or navigating elsewhere and coming back sometimes fixes it and I am served the correct page. Looks like a cache issue.

I've looked everywhere but am unable to repeat this. I though it may have been an issue with an individual server but they are all show the latest info.
All I can assume is that something is being cached your end.

A thought occured to me while I was attempting to debug the issue on my end. I was looking through Wireshark[^] HTTP/TCP logging streams looking for something that I could associate with the cache issue, but I discovered that I could not identify from which server I was being served. I would suggest adding a unique response header to each server. This would allow server specific bugs to be more easily identified by end users and possibly in-house.

Hi,
Every time I delete a bookmark, the page refreshes when I click the link but the bookmark still shows. It does appear to delete, as the bookmark is gone when I refresh the page. I'm using IE 7 on Vista. If this isn't a bug, this feels a little counter-intuitive.
