I am frequently being served 'Last 10 Updates' from 24 Nov 2008. Refreshing the page or navigating elsewhere and coming back sometimes fixes it and I am served the correct page. Looks like a cache issue.

The Lounge panel is also intermittently showing messages from 24 november.

I've looked everywhere but am unable to repeat this. I though it may have been an issue with an individual server but they are all show the latest info.
All I can assume is that something is being cached your end.

A thought occured to me while I was attempting to debug the issue on my end. I was looking through Wireshark[^] HTTP/TCP logging streams looking for something that I could associate with the cache issue, but I discovered that I could not identify from which server I was being served. I would suggest adding a unique response header to each server. This would allow server specific bugs to be more easily identified by end users and possibly in-house.

Hi,
Every time I delete a bookmark, the page refreshes when I click the link but the bookmark still shows. It does appear to delete, as the bookmark is gone when I refresh the page. I'm using IE 7 on Vista. If this isn't a bug, this feels a little counter-intuitive.

On the home page, the panel that shows the latest messages in the lounge changes between refreshes. Sometimes it's right, sometimes it's not.

Each webserver has its own caching so what you are seeing is the effect of having some servers be slightly behind the other servers in terms of having the latest info.
We try and strike a balance between server load and up to the second accuracy.

Not only that, Every section of Home page misbehaving. In Editor Choice
Some times I am getting My Own Article[^] and some times sherwinzhu's Article[^]
Is there any thing issue with caching ?

0) Every once in a while, when I click "Next" in a forum, I get a page with no messages.
1) The "Latest Best Picks" pane on the home page changes pretty much every time it's refreshed.
2) The site seems to be really slow again. Sometimes it takes a LONG time for it to return from posting a message, or to go from screen-to-screen in the article submission wizard.

Sounds like DB timeout, but I've also been seeing 4 of our older servers having load issues (well, not actually load, more of a performance issue while not even under load). I've tweaked things a little.

Just open any article from "Articles Needing Approval" section. Click on Author name in header section.
e.g:
My First Article
By : Author Name.
Click on "Author Name", It is redirecting to a blank page.
while same is working in the footer section means, from About Author part.
Please check !!!

Yes, you are right. It is a bug 
It is related to the fact, that the author has just one article,
which is not publicly available.
(The link at the bootm leads to profile page, and this is why it is working).
We will be fixing the bug soon.

I have subscribed the news letters, and received one today.
There is some job information in it, but when I explored the page, I saw "This job is not available in your area. Sorry!", and this made me very unhappy!
First, any public information should NOT be unavailable for anyone, it's unfair and even evil to treat individuals in different ways!
Second, you let me see the link, but you did NOT let me see the content, you wasted my time and made me very unhappy!
I am angry about this, you must regret and explain to the public, and do something to remedy it!
