Hello new to asp.net and i am working on one assignment, I have one image which i want to use as a page background and it's size is 1158 x 777 bitmap image, I have set image as a background and it displays on the web page but from right side and bottom side is not display on web page so how can i put scroll bar to move image up and down and side ways as well

you are putting it as page BackGround,not as Image on the page.
you cant put scroll bar just like that.
scroll bar will come if any object exceeds the page width or height.
So here is a workaround for this
create <div height="height of the image" width="width of that image" >
then your page content comes here
</div>
the page will show complete image in the background with scroll bars.

In an aspx page,am having a gridview, which has a checkbox template field. For my gridview, i have to provide navigation to checkboxes.
so, if return key or down arrow key is pressed, then i manually change
to TAB KEY. Thing is, while pressing UP arrow key,
i have to go up. this is possible with SHIFT+TAB key..
plz help...it is urgent.

yes but most of the result shows only for sending mail from smtp. I want to track receiving mail from smtp.

Yaa..That's True

What does it mean by receiving mail ? SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) is just a protocol which just used to send and receive between mail server. It does not have any relation with receiving mail. If you want to retrieve mail from server like GMAIL , then you need there Web API to access there mail.

Ya that I have alredy understood from your last response. If you want to implement mail concept with your newsite.com, First of all you need a MailServer. You can developed your own mail server or you can use mail server like Microsoft Exchange Server. Then after you can start your development of mail Client Application. newsite.com is your domin name. So for maintaining user and authentication of user you may need to use Active Directory also. If you want to implement using Exchange server, then you need learn about EWS (Exchange web service programming ) for send and retrieve email.
Hope this give you a idea that what you needs !!!!

You need to write or use a mail server on the back end to receive mail, and then store that received mail into a database. Then you are just writing a normal data driven application to show the mail. Recieving mail actually has nothing to do with ASP.NET, not a single thing.

your basic issue is that you need to understand ASP.NET. It's an engine for HTML, HTML is what the browser shows. So, you need to learn how to set the color of a page of HTML. The web abounds with such info.
