Hi,
I have asp:DataList with asp:ImageButton as item template. I have only 2 items to be displyed in list. But while runnig these 2 items are at both ends.
I have applied the RepeatLayout="Flow", then the items are displyed together in center
can anyone help?

Hi,
You havent mention how you exactly need to controls to display..so i just guessed.;)
If you want to display the 2 buttons vertical ie. one after the other use : RepeatLayout="Flow" RepeatColumns="1"
If you want to make them horizontal use : RepeatLayout="flow" RepeatDirection="Horizontal"

These are the links for serialization and not for java or c#.
Serialization is a concept. It does not matter if its implemented with Java or C#.

Well, in simple words it is the process of converting the state of an object into persistant form that can be stored in a medium or transported across processes/machines

hi
i think i put this question before some days age. question is that i have a right panel to add records in database in database i save information of employees with photo. and in middle panel datagrid to fill datagrid and update datagrid i use updatepanel for datagrid and also all right panel is used panel like edit, add, info and delete. and i want that page is not refresh when user click on insert button but problem is that its working properly when page was refreshed (before putting in update panel) after that given a problem that i browse a picture but when i click on insert there is no file with fileuploader how to overcome this problem?
mean not work properly fileupload when i put this control in update panel.

Hi,
FileUpload control works fine with the Update Panel. Its just normal for you to lose the selected file once you refresh the page regarless of useing the Update Panel.
I think some other even of your page might cause the page to refresh that results the selected file in the uploader to disappear.

A cursory read of the iPhone docs would explain to you why what you want, is absolutely impossible. Tell me you didn't write a C# app solely b/c you hoped to magically get it onto an iPhone ? iPhone apps are written with XCode in Objective C. Even then, they are a nightmare to deploy.

Is there any way to make a method in WebService as default like
Say i have four methods in webservice which supports Get request.
Call to Method1 is like
http://Something.com/MyWebService/ServiceWS.asmx?op=Method1¶m1=101¶m2=12
client wants Method1 as default and should be called if the request is like
http://Something.com/MyWebService/ServiceWS.asmx?param1=101¶m2=12
op=Method1 needs to be removed from call

Yes there are benefit, as per the design one method is generic which in turns call appropriate method based on a parameter value.
As much as use and context of webservice is consider its beneficial.

Hi, i have a gridview with two colums of data and for my requirement i need to select a record (using Selected Index of Gridview not with checkboxes)in Gridview and click on button submit which is outside of gridview. In javascript i need to check whether row has been selected or not when submit button is clicked. How can i get whether row has been selected or not? The button is outside of gridview.

By nature, Server Side and client side so not interact with each other. Its our( developers) job to make them communicate.
What you need to here is to pass the selected row id to the client. You can do this in number of ways like passing as hidden variable etc...
