I want to add new node in existing treeview control and after that I wanna bind data from table to this node dynamically.

Hi,
Reading the values from excel sheet , using those values i will generate usercontrol dynamically. usercontrol will have nearly 50 controls which is done in server side.
problem occurs if we have more than 50 records in Excel file.
It's working fine in http , but https is a problem. In HTTP it takes only 5 to 7 minutest to load 100 dynamic usercontrol in a page.
If i go for 100 records in Excel, At that time in IE takes long time and finally displays empty page. like Page cannot be found,.
it seems to be executionTimeout problem.
For that i had increased the executionTimeout =1200 and debug ="false" in web config, but still the problem occurs.
If anybody have any idea please reply me.

From where the Excel file is coming, client or server?
Try to increase the maxRequestLength also.
Copy and paste is a design error

I have 3 sql tables.
1.deptmaster

-dptname

-frequencyid
3.rptmaster

-other rows

I want to show values from table in given below form in treeview control.(I am using c#.net web application)
-Reports
--Department
---ReportName
scenario: 1 onclick of Reports in tree view I want to get all dept from table.
2 on click of Department in tree view I want to get all reports name in this department.
please give me the solution ASAP

Try searching on the net for how the treeview works, its not that hard to set up

I am trying to use Microsoft Word Object Library v11 to convert word doc files into text format , it works fine on my local mechine but when I uploded it to server this error occurs "That assembly does not allow partially trusted callers"
Does any one know how to make the assamly fully trusted or is there any other way for convertion for ASP.NET ?

Hello All,
I have a simple question about customization of Web controls for my WebSite Project.
Actually I want to have a property named "ControlGroup" in my web controls.
( But with this I want to retain all the control specific properties as well).
should I create a folder in my web site and create WebUserControls (.ascx) there??
OR
Should I Create a new Project in my Solution and create controls there
(by extending the Web Controls class )????
or is there any other approach which is more easy to implement and maintain?

I am doing an intranet application,which I want to configure into IIS and run using localhost...
Configured the website in IIS but it is throwing an error as follows :

So you want to allow users to access your website through your computer?
I'm not sure if you can do this but dont quote be on it!

I need other users to access the website that is running on my machine. They can use my machine ip address and access the application. For that i think i need to configure my machine into an ASP .NET Server.
