Because the HTML is going to perform postbacks and change it's state based on server actions. So long as you avoid those, and any AJAX calls, then it should work fine.

Hi,
I am using a 3rd party dll in my C# windows application but when I instanciate the class in the dll to use it gives me an error:
"Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {5F38F734-9DAC-11D1-B5C7-0060083B07C8} failed due to the following error: 80040154".
Can anyone tell me how do I get passed this one? I ran Regsvr32 and I have searched for the abovementioned CLSID in the registry but there's no such entry in the registry.
PLEASE HELP!!

I don't understand. What other method ? You stop execution of any method by logic that returns from it, or avoids it.
You should not catch ANY exception and just ignore it. If you have a specific exception you're willing to catch and ignore, catch that type only.

No, a bool cannot be null.
I still don't get it. If an exception is thrown, then you need to write code so that your return value is what you want it to be. If you need to write code to check if a class is null, then you need to write it.

Look at the Process class. You can use tne Start method on the Process class to start the external application.

It's hard to work out hwat you're asking here. Do you want to show one record per page ? Do you want to create a grid without using the control ( and if so, why ) ?
Once you've called your data source, be it access or whatever, you can display your data any way you want. What is it you're looking for here ?

OK - so you add controls to show the data for the contact, whatever that is, and a button that calls SQL to update that contact with whatever the user types in.

Here is the issue that I am having:
When I fill out the form and leave some of the fields blank I get an SQL Error message that states this: No value given for one or more required parameters.
Here is the code block that does the update:
