Hi,

I am binding morethan 100 records in to a dropdownlist control in my web project.

If I click the dropdownlist, It is showing more than 25 data with vertical scrollbar.

It is not feeling good to look.

I want to customize the displaying records.

It should display only 10 records with vertical scrollbar.

What I have to do? Pls help me

Mails delivery Spam Instead of Inbox

Hi, I develop an email application that runs fine. But it sends mails to Spam box of recepient and not to the Inbox. How do I rectify this cos i want it to be dilivered into the Inbox.

Here is my code snippet for the sendindMail Method.

Probably because you're in Nigeria ? :P

You can't stop a spam filter from blocking your email in code, except by sending mail that doesn't look like spam. Does your reply address and display name match ? Do you have a bunch of names being mailed to at once ? Do you have words like ciallis ( or cia11is ) in your email ? The problem is the content, not the code.

If you've taken a job to develop something where you have no idea where to start, shame on you, and shame on your client for being stupid enough to hire someone when they obviously do not have enough knowledge to supervise your work. I believe there are some CMS frameworks about, but either way, if you're asking this question, you should not be doing this for money.

I am using asp.net 2.0 with C# in my web application.in in i used a IFrame to open another page in same page.
In IFrame page there is a button and in click event of that button i open another aspx page.but it open in within IFrame.

I need it should be open in new windows.
also that iFrame is not working in firefox.

can any one tell me solution so that i will fix my problems

Hi friendz,

I have one text box for date purpose

By clicking the image button, I can select the date and am assigning the date in to the textbox.
I am using javascript for date control only.

But I want to set the textbox as readonly.

If I set readonly, I could not read the value from the textbox.

User only can select the date, but not to be allowed to type in the textbox directly.

How it is to be done.

More over, It is possible in VS 2003 and Framwork 1.1

But I am not possible in VS 2005 & Framework 2.0

Pls help

when you want to set value in textbox,make textbox readonly property as false so value would be set and after that again you can set readonly property as true

You're using AJAX ? You'd have to make multiple AJAX calls until you got all the data, which means a lot of syncronising code in the javascript.

I have this login page that when a user is authenticated s/he should be directed to the main page.The problem is that only Mozilla Firefox actually takes the user to that main page.Internet explorer always take the user back to the login page even when the user is a valid user.I just don't know what or why it is so.

I don't think this is the browser problem. Could you please debug and check whether it is going to the main page only if the login credentials are correct?

If the credential is not correct it will display a message telling you that you are not a valid user.If it is correct it is supposed to take you to the next page but it does not if you are using IE but if you are using firefox it will take you to the next page.But it works fine in the server using IE but it does not work fine from the client's system.

Then it may be problem with the settings of the browser in client machine. Check whether the settings in the Security & Advanced tabs of Tools-->Options of IE in server is same as with client.

Majority have the same setting.It is an app that run with more than 3,000 users.The puzzle here is why is it not having the problem with Mozilla Firefox?And you know almost everybody uses IE.
Any help will be appreciated.
