Software environment :
VB6.0 SP6, sql server 2000, windows XP SP3. I have used components like datagrid..,crystal reports
"runtime error 6149 invalid bookmark". This is the error i get from the vb application.
Does anyhow know the reason or causes for the runtime error .?
can anyone suggest whats the possibility of this error?? and how to correct the error.

I am having a lot of trouble with this when I thought that it was supposed to be really easy. I have a form designated to specific settings in my program. Specifically I need to manipulate a tab control (I got that part down.) But I can't figure out how to do this on another form and have code work for the other. This is essential or I can't implement any optional settings. Please, I only have a week until this thing is due.

Why don't you give us the code you have and let us know where you are getting an error and what error you are getting. Generally, if you have Form1 and Form2 and Form1 has the tabcontrol, you should be able to put code similar to this on Form2 to manipulate Form1:
Form1.tcMyTabControl.SelectedTab = tpMyTabPage

I have a thread running in the background of Form1 and the thread permanently opens up a new form, Form2, by calling the ShowDialog() method of Form2. On form2 I have a SaveFileDialog but if it tries to open I get this error:
"Current thread must be set to single thread apartment (STA) mode before OLE calls can be made. Ensure that your Main function has STAThreadAttribute marked on it. This exception is only raised if a debugger is attached to the process."
What can I do to resolve this?
