Hi in my grid first cell is button column,
from Second cell databoundcolumn,
When i am click the datboundcolumn the row contained values have to come on my textboxes, So i fired there <b>selectionindexchanged</b> event,
And, When i am clicking the button column it have to remove the row from the grid list(delete),So there i have to fire rowdatacommand event...,
Now my problem is when i am click the boundcolumn its firing the selection index change event, its ok,
But when i am clicking the button column also its firing the selectionchange event...,
But there i need to fire my rowdatacommand event,
How to do tat,

How can i move a particular font to the client machine from server.Actually the problem is that i have a font installed on my server , when i try to access the web page with that special font , it does not show up wit that face . So , how can i move the server font to the client machine(while client is accessing the server)

Hi,
After I change all control panel regional and language options to arabic text in VS.NET web applications appear in arabic except text in code-behind appear in something like Latin language.I try the same code in another computer and it wroks fine.Could any one help me to solve this problem?

I have an xml file, with "any number of page nodes" each with 3 certain child nodes.
With the XMLDoc, I have read the contents of the pages' 3 child-nodes for purposes of populating a form with their values.
I added a "+" sign at the end of each of the 3 child nodes as I pass them into a string variable so that I can later split them into an array.
I know a "regular" string is passed the repective dimension of the recently split array, i.e.
Dim Page1 as string = split(AllPages(0), "+")

Whats boggling my mind is the matter of the number of pages in the XML can be any number. I am able to pull the number of pages in that user's XML file via code, but I can not declare
Dim Page(x) as string = split(AllPages(i), "+")
because Page(x) is now an array which is not what it needs to be. It needs to be an ordinary string, but since I do not know how many pages a user has in his XML, I do not know how to dynamically create ordinary string to pass the split array. I know the code has to be:
Page1 = split(AllPages(0), "+")
Page2 = split(AllPages(1), "+")
and so on, but again, I do not know how many pages therefore I cannot declare,
Page1 as string
Page2 as string
etc...

Your code is messy. You could use XMLDocument.GetElementsByTagName() or XPath query to get the child nodes.

Please provide the error message you are getting?
Is the "CreateObject" throwing an error? If yes, then check if the correct class name is referenced in the CreateObject method.

anybody has a sample program (with VB or JAVA) to read from an XML file to a simple form (include a text field and a check-box or radio-button) and load dat of these controls and then save changes again on XML file by pressing a "save" button.

i just created one page site with one labels and 1 button.the same thing works with the the embbeded server.here i'm having this:

Yes, it is secure.
When you are running the 1.1 and 2.0 framework simultaneously then as you stated problem comes into the picture.
No problem at all just go ahead and install it (aspnet_regiis -i).

The problem is that the class containing the code behind for the page doesn't exist.
You have to compile the code before running it. If you have deployed the files to a server, you have to include the compiled code (bin folder) also.
Despite everything, the person most likely to be fooling you next is yourself.

Just make sure that the page with name default exists in your website.
If this page exists and you are still getting the error, then please let us know..

1) The virtual directory should have been marked as an application in IIS.
2) The application should have a bin folder with the .CS/.VB files built before using the application.

Hi Friends,
I have implemented for ASP .Net Ajax in our web application. Now it is working fine.
My problem is, I have implemented a page with required field validator. Now the required field validator is working fine for when first time loaded. The second time is not working for validate empty value.
Please help me urgent for how to change our source in my application.

Hi!
I'm newbie in ASP.NET world.
My question is:
I have a web page (ASP.NET 2.0 with code behind file C#) with some controls, like text boxes, drop down lists and so on.
I'd like when an user change any data in any control, and then he/she try to close the browswer or try to leave the web page without save the data, it appear a message box warning that he/she will lose the changes.
Note: Script options doesn't work because I'm using master pages and scripts can't be inserted in content file. So I need a code-behind solution.
Do you have any idea?
