I am receiving this error :--->

1) After googling, I found that customErrors mode="off can help.
Presently its True on Server side. Like this
RemotingConfiguration.CustomErrorsEnabled(true);
2) I am using .Net 1.1 on the server side and .Net 2.0 on client side.
3) Not getting this problem frequently. It has only 5% chances.
4) When I debugging found some interesting stuff:

From the client side, I am calling One.GetInfo() method.
a) Event OnRequested(sID) raised and handled by class Two and One.m_sReult is set as "Done".
b) But on client side it returns NULL and also writes Log "Server encountered and internal....." on Server side.
So suggest me, what I should do to solve this problem.
I should use customErrors mode="off for better understanding?
I would appreciate any help or suggestions that anyone can provide.

What i want is: i have three collapsiblepanels, when mouse is over one of them that
1. shall expand and other two shall collapse.
2. when mouse is out of all the three then only the collapsiblepanel on which mouse was over last time shall remain expanded.
3. expanding and collapsing shall be slow.

Hi,
I want to pass client sid value to server side. when I click radio button it calls javascript function where am getting radio button value and displaying in label. now when I click on Next button I wanted that radion button value. am adding radion buttons dynamically..
Can any one guide me.. am using asp.net 2.0 and c#.

If yuo're adding them dynamically, the ids of the checked ones will be in the form object on postback. There will be no viewstate probably unless they are being added pruior to pageload.

If radio button is added dynamically, probably you can retrieve it from the Request.Params[]..the other way is that have a server side hidden field at first and in the javascript push the value into the hidden field and retrieve it in the post back..

Hello all
I am working on a application in which user takes a survey.Each survey contain some element and element contain question. When user taking the survey then first i want to display Element name and below that question in that element like as follow.
Element 1
- Question 1
- Question 2
- Question 3
Element 3
- Question 1
- Question 2
Each survey can contain number of element and each element contain number of question. I want to display 10 question on each page next question on next page.
How could i do that. Each survey contain 1 to 100 element 1 and each element can contain 1 to 100 question.How could i do that?
My Element (Subcategory structure is as follow)

I find a repeater is the best way to render two levels of data, but you can use any data bound control you like, just bind to the inner data in the row bound event of the outer one.

I would return a dictionary, with the keys being the questions and the values being the list of answers. I'd store it as a member variable. Then I'd bind to the keys collection, and for each key, I'd find an inner bound control that renders the answers, and bind to the matching list of answers.

I am using membershipprovider for login.When i tried to get the password of a user password retrival is not set error occurs .How can i get the password of a selected user so that i can change the password of the user using membership.changepassword method.Please help me to solve this error.

Im working for a portal where i have to display various aspects in that page... one of them is displaying videos in my site..
Concept is, ill upload new videos in ftp and i ve to show those in my page.
Its something which is new to me and so i mandatorily need your help guys

You show videos by embedding a control that plays them in your site. Go to a site that plays videos and check out the html it generates. I think youtube use thier own player, you need one that uses windows media player.

hi...i need to give the path of the webservice(which is running in another machine) in the serviceReference....if the webservice is in our solution then we use the following code
asp:servicereference path="~/WebServices/MySampleService.asmx"
but now my webservice is in another machine which is published.... i have written code like this...
asp:servicereference path="http://12.18.15.17/WebServices/MySampleService.asmx" <br />
but the javascript throws error "Mysampleservice" is undefined...
..can anyone suggest me how to fix this?

I open modal popup windows using java script in asp.net.

Popup window is open well. But, there is lot of text on Test.aspx. Now, I want to select text for copy. But text is not selected. I would like to know that how to select text and right click of mouse on modal popup?
If, is there alternative way to do this please tell me.
Any help is appreciated.

That's what modal means, you can't interact with the parent form.
You could use a floating DIV, which could be modeless.

Actually, child modal popup windows contain lot of text. Now, I want to select that text so that I can copy and paste in text file. I am not taking about parent form. My question is concern with Child Modal Popup Windows.

Dear All,
i am using asp.net2.0 ,C# .
let me tell you scenario.
i built a web application called daily call report that have two classes in the folder app_code and other aspx file and its code behind file.
now i have to deploy this web application but problem is I have to incorporate this web application other web application that is my site will run thrugh other application whenever user select to go my site.
now i published my whole project and placed the all dll inside root folder (that is i placed my aspx pages inside folder called dailycallreport and all respective dll to bin folder ) now issue is the classes i have wriiten generates app_code dll and it conflict with existing app_code dll. i placed bin inside dailycallreport folder but i is not recongnizing . client is not giving all classes they used so it not possible to overwrite the same app_code i would like to know how can i placed my class file dll so that other setting does not affect ..
please suggest something.
