I have a jar file for eg EndtoEnd.jar file added to a folder in my project's solution(Website asp.net)..Now i want to access a class for eg a.class present in this jar file ..Is it Possible in asp.net 2.0??

Convert it to C#, they are similar enough. But, they are not the same. You plainly can't use java code in ASP.NET.

But it's not executed by ASP.NET. It's executed by the JVM installed on clients machine.

Hi all,
i am using asp.net , c# in vs2005.
i am facing problem of slowness of page(becuase heavy event called for data that is i have four to five dropdownlist control and each dropdownlist is filled based on its precedor value and every seletedindex_changed event call datatbase and fetch the data). what i am now trying is to fetch all the in datatable on page load and from these datatable i would like to fetch data depend on the condition. i am not getting good link to perform the same .
please guide me also suggest what i am approaching would inhance speed of flow or not.

We can't help you. We have no idea what data you're loading, what depends on other data, or any other way that we could comment on ways to optimise the load process. We also cannot see the SQL you're using, so we can't comment on how to optimise it. In short, you have given us nothing to help you with.

I have two text boxes for login (not using ASP.NET2.0 login control) for username and password and one checkbox for "Remember Password".I want to remember password on the check of checkbox.
Do I have to use cookies?Is there any other way to achieve that since if the user had disabled cookies then this can't be achieved.
I have tried it with cookies but not able to succeed,can anybody suggest me the code ...

Yes, unless the user has a static IP address, and you use that and store in your DB.

but i need to add the value and show as a total so i did

I have a small JavaScript function that needs to be executed on each tick of my Timer control. However, there is no "OnClientTick" property similar to the "OnClientClick" property for Buttons, ImageButtons, etc. How can I go about doing this?

Hello,
I have an application that sets a cookie (for authentication purposes) after a user logs in. When I run the application locally it sets the cookie and runs as it should. However when running on the webserver it appears to not set the cookie and cause me to go back to the login screen (to basically do it over). I tested my app in Firefox and it sets the cookie fine (both locally and on the webserver). Can anyone give any insight on this? Thanks in advance.

I have a asp.net page that uses some ASPNET AJAX controls in Update panel. This page keeps throing this exception. I have checked EventValidation is not set in web.config and i even tried explicitly setting it to false but no luck.
