Hi all,
I would like to learn everything about ADO.NET 2.0.
I think the best to do this, is to look at lots of samples.
Are there any available for download ? I mean sample applications ?

I have a datagrid called GridTour.I need to create a excel sheet from the data of GridTour and save it in some path.Please anyone can suggest me a very simple and short method.I have the code in VB and needs to be converted to C#.But I could not go through that code.

Hi,
I am facing problem while performing remote debugging. I have created a small application named "DebugHelloWorldRemotly.exe" in C# .Net using Visual Studio 2003. I have placed this exe and pdb file on one machine(lets call it as a Server). That exe is executing on server.
I am having its source code on my development machine. Now I want to debug that application (which is running on server) from my development environment.
I am performing following steps.
1) I have started an instance of msvcmon.exe using following command
msvcmon -tcpip -anyuser
2) Then I opened project i.e. DebugHelloWorldRemotly.sln
3) I go to Project->Properties
4) Click on Debugging option and set follwoing parameters
Enable ASP Debugging = True
Debug Mode = Project
Enable Remote Debugging = True
Remote Debug Machine = 10.52.33.244 ( this is ip of the server i.e. where exe is executing.)
Click on OK.
5) Then I go to Tools->Debug Process... menu
6) I select Trasport = TCP/IP (Native only)
8) Name = "10.52.33.244" ( Ip of server where exe is executing )
9) It shows list of all the processes which are executing on server.
10) I select DebugHelloWorldRemotly.exe and click on "Attach..."
It dose not give any error message but if I place any break point it syas "The break point will not be currently hit. No executable code is currently loaded at this location."
Please help.

Hi,
I have to verify the server certificate in order to authenticate a https client-server communication. I don't know I what certificate type should I use for server(Jboss server) and how to handle and verify the certificate on client side(implemented in C#). I suppose that I have to install server certificate on client too, in order to compare it with the one sent by server for authentication.
Can anyone supply some info related to this issue?

I'd like to display text to the console in a flash effect ( at the microseconds level)
The time delay between:
label1.Visible = true;
and
label1.Visible = false;
Is to long for my requirements.
Is it possible?
Any ideas / pointers / suggestions would be helpful.

Remember, you are pretty much limited to the refresh rate of the monitor.
If the monitor is at 60Hz, then there is no possible way to flash the text more than 60 times a second. (That would be a delay of about 16 milliseconds). Actually it would not be possible to flash it more than 30 times, because half the time the text would not be displayed.

When you invoke class1, it's constructor will be called automatically.

The line in bold is calling the constructor with no parameters. You could pass a string to call the contructor you listed.

add your class in an ArrayList, then bind that AL to your ListBox, something like this :
ArrayList AL = new ArrayList();
AL.Add(new ubi());
LB.DataSource = AL;
LB.DisplayMember = "UserName"
LB.ValueMember = <your control>

Hi all,
I have read the documentation on MSDN regarding the tabpage control. It states that the tab page within the tabcontrol can not be hidden. According to the MSDN to hide it, one needs to remove it. This is quite hideous!
Isn't there another way of doing it?
