I cannot make selection of any rows of my datagrid Mad | :mad:

So, any code inside the SelectedIndexChanged event handler never fire Cry | :((

Shall I do anything to enable selection? Confused | :confused:

Notice: I can select rows programatically
myDataGrid.SelectedIndex = x;
but faild on runtime

Its very simple... just add a button column with command name="select"
and then write ur code in the selected index changed event...

in page load i am binding data to gridview control . i have button in that same page while clicking this button i want that

grid view data to be downloaded to the client side in .txt format . now i did how to convert that gridview data to txt format .

but it saving in server machine(i gave server.mappath for path) . it should downloadad to client machine . how to do that ?

I have taken a div to show or hide the calendar in Master Page's content page but it's not working. But if i put the code in the simple web page then that's working .....
And also it's showing a object required error on page

hi,
how i can retrive the selected items from the listbox at a time?
although i change the selectionmode with the multiple.

I am having VS 2005. Now I have installed ajax and ajax control toolkit. After this process, I created a new Ajax enabled website. I have added one simple Label Control and TextBox Control inside the Update panel. While running this page I am getting a javascript error message--"Sys is undefined" . Can any one give a solution ?

Note: My application is running on Apache Web Server

i'm not sure off by hand but if you follow a beginners article on the web it might help you if you hgave missed something

couple things:

have you got any ajax controls isside a content tag
is there any ajavscript that is running on your page

Did you notice the mention of an object not found Javascript exception. I think it a safe bet that this isn't being generated by anything else. Roll eyes | :rolleyes:
