I would suggest you download the Crystal Report merge module from the CrystalDecisions website, then include the merge module in your Setup/Distribution package.

How can I subpress the message of Secure Sockets Layer while displaying a website that is secured by Secure Sockets Layer and Private Communications Technology.
I use a WebBrowser control to navigate to sites in my vb.net application. One of the site is a secure site. when the page gets loaded a message is displayed asking :
The Page contains both secure and nonsecure items.
Do you want to display the nonsecure items ?
When i click on the Yes button then only the correct page is displayed.
Is there any settings for this, so that the message doesn't irritates me everytime i navigate to a secure site ?

I've got a windows application and I want to know if anyone has or knows any code for FTPing files through the system. The code I've got so far is here, but I think I'm missing a class which I've failed to find. If anyone has different code that works, then that would be greatly appreciated!

Look in the System.IO namespace, at the File, FileInfo, Directory, and DirectoryInfo classes. They're very easy to use. Just make sure you remember to use fully qualified path names to all of your files and directories.

I am working on project using Visual Studio 2005 VB.NET. The problem is that when I try to run Application in non .NET platform (i.e. Windows XP but .net is not installed) it does not run(I know it won't)!
Is there any way to develop non .net application in Visual Studio 2005??? It's urgent because I'm really stuck on this.

Yes - use C++ and make sure you don't use C++/CLI ( use MFC instead )

But for me it would be just waste of time and everything if i develop this application again C++.
This software is for school kids and the network do not have .NET installed on normal PCs and unfortunately as it has more than 150 workstations the Network Admin has refused to install it, which has just messed up everything... So before I go any further I just wanted to know if I can do it anyway around!!

You could use one of the few products that compiles the required parts of the .NET Framework into your .EXE. But, they're very expensive to buy and there are no "free" versions.
If money is an issue, you simply have no alternatives. Either they install the .NET Framework, or you start rewriting in C++.

You could always create a setup package that will install the .NET Framework along with your app on those machines.

That decision is up to the people who own the machines, not the application. If they don't want to install the .NET Framework, you can't force them to do it.

If you are a VB developer, you "could" always use VB 6.0. This would give you the ability to create an .exe that is not .NET framework dependent.
However, it might be easier to simply sell the customer on installing the .NET framework since it won't impact their computer or installed programs and will provide them a migration path to Vista with your program.

Hello Vuyiswa,
You need to bind the Listbox to specific column in a table inside that DataSet. You cannot bind it
directly to a dataset.
Try this code snippet.
Dim dt As DataTable = dsdata.Tables(0)<br />
ListBox1.DataSource = dt<br />
ListBox1.DisplayMember = "<name of="" the="" column="">"</name>
I believe this should resolve your issue.

To expand a bit... A DataSet is a collection of DataTable and DataRelation objects. You cannot bind a ListBox directly to a DataSet. You must bind it to the DataTable in the DataSet.

Hello All
I need a Software that can display all the combinations for a given number of digits, especially 14 digits and each digit has 10 choices from 0 to 9.
Suppose that we have one digit so we will have 10 different combinations "10^1". Now suppose that we have two digits then we will have 100 different combinations "10^2", starting from 00 …. 99.
The software that I need is to display all the combinations for a 14 digits number, then we will have 10^14 different combinations starting from 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 to 99 99 99 99 99 99 99.
