How can close a popup window from server side button
and my scenario is like that,
i have click on a button , if some condition is satisfy then popup window will close.
Any idea ???

Try this in the click event of that button.
if (condition)<br />
Page.ClientScript.RegisterStartupScript(this.GetType(), "Close", "window.close()", true);

my current Project requirment is in IE, so i am happy for now, i will do some more R&D for the same later.
If i did not get the solluation ..... i have to recode one module 
but now it looks Good

at the code-behind,
on the condition u want write following code.

Hello Friends,
Can anybody tell me how to implement Default Paging in GridView.
Actually i'm using the following command..........
GridView1.CurrentPageIndex=e.NewItemIndex;
but CurrentPageIndex is not being supported in my code and also throwing error

I think u r using .Net 2.0, here u dont have to wory @ paging.
dont generate that event..
just allow paging true in ur gridview property.And set page size..
thats it...

Hi,
Paging in Grid View is very simple just follow 4 steps:
1> Take the columns in grid and set the column's Data field of column of your Dataset(means if you have dataset column name empid then set the columnl's datafield empid of grid view
2> Set the paging of grid view =True
3>Set the page size=10 (suppose)
4>In the event of grid view write this

Protected Sub GridView1_PageIndexChanging(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.Web.UI.WebControls.GridViewPageEventArgs) Handles GridView1.PageIndexChanging<br />
GridView1.PageIndex = e.NewPageIndex<br />

Here add_record() is a procedure which bind the grid view to dataset
(Remember use
Gridview.Datasource=mydataset
Gridview.Databind

You can communicate to the mail server using POP3 protocol. Check articles explaining the implementation of POP3 in .NET. I think yahoo won't allow free POP3 access.

i am new to asp.net. I wanna hav a flex grid that resembles a table where the user can enter the data. i wrote the following code
m printing a table with textboxes embedded in it.. but m not able to access the text box declared using

The code is getting compiled without any error but the str1's value is null.. what do i do? i wanna create a flexgrid..

Why not just use the grid view? It can do this...

Oh dear... I don't think you've got much idea of what .NET is all about, have you? If you haven't got it already, I suggest you download either Webmatrix or Web Developer 2005 Express Edition (both are free) from here[^] and, if you can't get hold of a good book do some online research[^] and start from the beginning....
