My apology for it. I didn't know that ,haven't really used these forum much. I did not want to offend anyone just am trying to get some sugggestion.

Your problem is that the ObjectDataSource is the aborted whoreson of satan. You really shouldn't use it - in any way at all. It just binds your datasource to the UI and that's bad news - you're just asking for trouble with scalability. Instead, consider separating your UI from the business layer and the data layer. This way you can have much more control over how the data is retrieved, how you page it, and so on.

hi,
I'm using .NET 2.0 C# and the question I'm gonna ask might seem a bit awkward but anyway here it goes...
well I've just made a function to send emails and its working fine but the problem is that I can't seem to find how I can pass the sender's Name with the email so what's happening is that its showing the email ID without the @hotmail.com part in the sender's name
Can anyone plz help me with that.

I did it like this with the MailAddress object msg
MailAddress fromEmail = new MailAddress(from,SenderName);
MailAddress toEmail = new MailAddress(to);
System.Net.Mail.MailMessage msg = new System.Net.Mail.MailMessage(fromEmail,toEmail);

You can use any culture you want when converting the date to a string:

Hi all,
I have a case where i need to use the same page with the same controls twice where the only difference is the datasource of the gridview. First time i need to read from a live table with primary key ID and second time from Temp table with primary key TempId. All other fields are the same.
What i need is to load once the data from the live table and once from Temp according to a flag iam passing. I need to set the DataKeyNames one time to ID and one time to TempId.
How is that possible to do in code cause if i put both ids in aspx page it is generating an error since only one id exists from the procedure iam getting.

It is impossible to tell why you are getting this error with out more detail.
Place a breakpoint a few lines before the error occurs, examine the values of any variables and all should become clear.
