HI to all
I want to upgrade the system designed in vb to that of the .net where In existing system there is a ocx control( Third party active x control) . A small application
in which we connect to that of the customer’s phone (Dialer) I through this ocx control in order to sell the policy. Please tell me how to convert this things to that of . I have to write the code manually???????? Or is there any process to convert it……..
Please Explain me this process in detail.....

use the split function in javascript and an another function that check the equality of jan = 1 , feb = 2 ......

I'm getting an array with the valid data... there are 2 rows in the dataset... m getting this exception whem I'm binding the datagrid with the arraylist...

You are getting this error because the specified argument was out of the range of valid values.
It is impossible to tell why you are getting this error with out more detail.
Place a breakpoint a few lines before the error occurs, examine the values of any variables and all should become clear.

hi,
I'm working on a form where I have two validators on a field say email. one is the requiredFieldValidator and the other is a regexvalidator, the problem is that their text doesnt display above each other but they display beside each other. What I want is for them to be displayed at the same position. For that I made the following CSS class
.validators
{
color: Red;
position: static;
left: 0px;
}
but its not working. I've tried it in IE6 and FF.
Plz help me with this

Try setting the Display="Dynamic" property on the validator controls.

can any1 help me, i am trying to create paging for a datalist, but when i run the page i get this error:

I'd advise u to use datagrid with templatefields instead. you can search the 4Guysfromrolla.com for some articles on paging in Datalist though

Thanks for your reply, i realise that a datagrid would be easier to accomplish but im displaying images in the datalist, in a horizontal table format, and i have no idea if that can be accomplished in a datagrid.

I need a tutorial (C#) which can show me, how I made a gridview in a web server control (databinding and so on). It has to be a server control not a user control. Anybody who can help me whith a link to such a tutorial?

My requirment is that I want to run a function in a class automatically every 30 days. But as per my understanding, the asp.net application runs only when someone request any pages in that site through the browser. Is it correct? Can i set any triggers in asp.net?

i was using the timer control in website just for the practise purposes.I saw , the timer control is auto executing after it's time interval if it is a ajax enabled website.
If it is a asp.net we site(partially enabled ajax website , i mean , in the asp.net website , i am dragging the ajax controls) then the timer control is not working , it works if in the form load i write

I think the timer control won't work. The timer works only the page which contains the times runs.
