Hello all,

i am working on .NET 2.0 DataGridView (winforms) sorting.

I want to add checkbox in the column header & i want to implement sorting also.

if i specify automatic then it was not working.

any sounds?

Hello everybody,

i set the datasource of the DataGridView to an ArrayList (with Objects)
At the beginning the list is empty, then it gets a value.
So i need to update the Grid:

I set the datasource to null and re-set it to the arraylist.
The Grid has now one row, but in this case CurrentRow and CurrentCell is <null>

How can i set CurrentCell & CurrentRow to the first line?

BTW: Grid[0,0].Selected is true if CurrentCell == null D'Oh! | :doh:

You Can Easily Do it using Reflection !!!

There is a Assembly Class. Usign That you can retrive all inforamtion runtime.
You can also Check Assembly Values in Solluation Explorer > Properties > Assemblyinfo.cs

You can use AppDomain.GetAssemblies() to get a list of the Assemblies which have been loaded into the program.

Does anybody know how to get a list of the assemblies (dlls) which an application will use even if it hasn't loaded them yet?

Hi,

I am working on a windows application in which I have a MonthCalendar Control. Basically its a Reminder application. I want all the dates should be selected on which user has set reminder. if I have set reminder for 15th Dec, 18th Dec, 25th Dec then this dates should be selected in the MonthCalendar Control.

Can any one plz let me know how can I acheive this task.

Hi,

can someone tell me why setting Console.TreatControlCAsInput = true needs two times hitting the enter button to make the Console.ReadLine work. Is this really a bug and if yes, how can i simulate a useful ReadLine function that does work?

if you open the program.cs file you will get that info !!!

Hi friends,
I am facing this problem when i try to access Outlook contacts using C# code. It gives a warning popup. All i want is that this warning popup should not be shown. And for that i don't want any extra installation.
I tried it using ExpressClickYes utility but for that i need to install that utility and i don't want that.

you can't, it's there to warn the user that an app is accessing outlook ( for example, to build spam lists ). As your code is benign, the idea is that the user knows it's happening and just clicks OK

There is a way - I think you can set some policys for the exchange-server to tell the outlook-clients to supress this message (and I think this was not documentet by microsoft) - but I just can't remember where this bugger is at the moment ... maybe someone can help?

You need to create a custom action.

i used gzipstream to compress a file of dat format . it was saved with the extension of gz and was successed then decompressed it .the file was decompressed successfully, but it was unable to run , the media player said that the file is corrupted , can any one say why this happen and ,is it only the text files the gzipstream and deflatestream supports? Smile | :)

No, you can compress any file type you like. your code is broken, or the library is broken.

I'm sure you already know how to create classes and variables. Really, the question is, what makes you think it needs improving, what are you trying to improve and where are the bottlenecks ?

Use Ctrl+Left/Right to switch messages, Ctrl+Up/Down to switch threads, Ctrl+Shift+Left/Right to switch pages.
