MySQL Membership Provider problem

Hey

I'm using the MySQL Membership and Role Provider from here and i'm having a few problems.

I've created all the tables in my database and added the part specified to my web config file and edited the connection string appropriately. The problem comes when I attempt to create user. It just says it fails. Even through web admin. Any ideas?

Hi there,

I have the situation as follows:

I have custom web part, which is provider and consumer at the same time. It implements IWebPartTable interface. When I work with my custom web part in "chain mode", which means web part p1 provides data for web part p2 and web part p2 provides data for web part p3 (p1->p2->p3) the data in all web parts are displayed properly. But, if I work with my web part in "parallel mode", which means web part p1 provides data for web parts p2 and p3 (p1->p2, p1->p3), the data only displayed in last web part p3. All connections are there!

The problem is that I must move using TableCallback object from GetTableData method on class level. Before moving it on class level, it looked as follows:

public void GetTableData(TableCallback callback)
{
callback(_table.Rows);
}

After moving it, it looks as follows:

public sealed class TableProviderWebPart : WebPart, IWebPartTableExtended
{
private TableCallback tableCallback;

...

public void GetTableData(TableCallback callback)
{
this.tableCallback = callback;
}
}

Do you have any suggestion how to make my web part work in "parallel mode" as well?

when i send method to asmx whit xmlhttp if my browser be firefox it is rghith but IE has a problem some time my filds in the server side is null but when i test ajax url it is true

I find it had to believe that you used the ASP.NET AJAX library and it works with FF and not IE. It's a Microsoft library. If you actually wrote AJAX code, that may be the case. In either case, one has to wonder how you expect us to point out your bugs if you're not showing us any code.

How are you initialising the XmlHttp object? There is a difference between IE and FF on how you create this/

i used prototype and a function that write myself.
but ie have a problem.
when i write a ajax url like this
("localhost.../service.ams/adduser?username="+varusername)

when i used alert(varusername) it give me curect ansewr
but in thenserver side
it is null

i have used this javascript and code for selecting a row in gridview. From this i'll be getting index of the row. its working fine but what i want is the cell value(of any columm) of that selected row can anybody tell me what to do to read the cell value.

Image disappear with IIS

I am developping a website in asp.net 2.0.
It works fine with localhost.
If I go to my site with an external IP (thrue internet) I have many images that disappear for a second session!
If I do a refresh (F5) many images disappear and others appear again.
As if it was a random behavior.

If I am connected with only one session (even with an external IP) it works.
Since I login a second time I have this problem in my both sessions!

Where can I search?
What could be my problem?
A bad parameter in IIS?

maybe. I guess, your internet connection is so slow?? It happened to me like that if I was on bad internet connection..

I don't think it is my connection.
I download and upload quickly.

But I tried something : I uncheck the "Persistant connection" in IIS on the default web site properties.
And since now it works fine.

"Second session" :
I log one time on my site.
I laucnh a second explorer (IE or Firefox) and I log on my site a second time (I have 2 explorer in same time : 2 sessions for my site).
When I log a second time, I see the images disappear for the both sessions.

Hi,

I am developping in asp.net 2005.
I have 2 dropdownlists A and B.
When i am selecting an item from A, I would like to fill Dropdownlist B but without posting back.
If I understand right, I have to do this in javascript.
The problem is that I want to read from my database (access).

Please, see example of what i am trying to do: selecting 'state' will fill 'city' accordingly:

If you are using .net 2.0 you can achieve this with a control in the ajax control toolkit which can do cascading dropdowns.
