There are a number of reasons for this, one could be that you're writing to the page using javascript before it is loaded. I had that recently.

In my project there is one table to store the user login details.
When the user logout, i want to store the logout time in the table.
But when the user close the browser without logging out, i can not store the Logout time.
How can I get the Logout time in this case.
Plz help me...

Try to use Session_End event of Global.asax. If you are using ASP.Net 2.0 you have to manually include Global.asax from the list. In this event check if the user is not already logged out enter the time when session expires.

I have a grid form that uses our internal framework to open a popup for a detail form. I can't yet modify our framework to allow me to pass a callback function for the popup form to call back to the grid form for a refresh, so I would, for now, like to hard-code the callback into the popup. How could I go about this? The grid form is displayed in an IFRAME controlled by an explorer like navigator.
I have the 'call-back' code already in the popup form, and the back-called function already in the grid form, but now I just need to know how to find the function in the grid form from the function in the popup form.

I don't think that call back function(delegates) can work on multiple pages. Do you mean a JS function ?

I haven't tried anything yet, as I've been carrying on with other, higher priority, work in the time being. Yes, I should have mentioned that I'm doing this all in Javascript, and no, I haven't tried Window.Opener, but I have doubts as the popup isn't opened directly from my grid form, but by a function, in our in-house navigation framework called "ChaseDialog.Show". It looks like this operates from another IFRAME to my grid form.

One good way is to pass XML and use OpenXML instead of string mashing.
