if you use HH mm ss it will return the time in 24hr format when u write it as h mm ss tt it will return in 12 hr format with AM/PM option

i want to retrieve the data from the database to treeview.if table contains the colums name ,id, sal .then the treeview should contain tha child nodes as name ,id,sal.

I have a Gridview. I have to set column width at runtime in the codebehind. I am using C#.

I had a plan to set width in RowDataBound(). But I don't know how to implement this....

Hi,
u can set width at any stage. In page load also when binding grid.

gvRaised.Columns[2].ItemStyle.Width = 200;

My Gridview is populating dynamically.
I dont know the exact no of coloumns which will come at runtime...
I have to set headerrow coloumn width for all columns...

If each control represents a column in a database, then you could just take the text/selection from each control and put the data in the correct spot in the SQL query.

Eg,

SELECT * FROM tableName WHERE col1='textbox1 value' AND col2='dropdown1 value' ... and so on.

This way, you only really write one query, but it changes based on the selections that are made by the user.
