hi,
I used of this code:
Click Me
and by clicking it a new window opens, but self page navigates to "javascript:window.open('2.htm','mywindow','width=400,height=200')" and displays "object"!
How can I stop the first window to navigate?
And if I use :

ASP.Net throws an exception about validation, what is it?

you can use target="_blank" attribute inside anchor tag

SQL Server2005 connection

i have created a data base connection but when the connection.Open() statement is executed i get the following exception

" An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections."

what should i do ...............

Set it up so you can allow remote connections. You do this by going into the Surface Area Configuration manager...

I heard that using a datagrid control is not good in web applications because some browsers do not display it correctly,

Who ever told you that is full of sh*t. Datagrid control has not caused me any trouble in the major web browsers (IE, FF, Opera)...

I am a beginner at ASP.NET

Right now i am searching for a way to store images files(jpeg,gif) files into Oracle database and then retrieve them as needed. ( C# only!!!)

You can store the image path (no need the image itself)...hope you can get my idea..

Hi there,

I want to delete a row from a gridview, once it has been populated. My user have some control over how he wants to see the gridview, but now wants to be able to deleted certain rows, when clicking a link. How will I delete the rows?

I have the following code:

After Binding the data into the grid we have use this code:

Dim row As GridViewRow<br />
         Dim i As Integer<br />

Wow - did you try to research them at *all* ?

AJAX is a methodology that is supported by any web development environment. ATLAS is the old name for ASP.NET AJAX, a library from MS that attempts to create .NET ready controls and methods to simplify AJAX. So, they are the same thing.

I have created a gridView at run time like this:
