If I could, I would do it in the right forum, rather than encourage you to ask questions in the wrong place. No, I can't, I *hate* ASP, it's beyond me why anyone would even consider using it in this day and age. I hated it then, and I've not used it for years, sorry. My answer was just to direct you to a forum where people who are likely to know the answer, are likely to see your question.

Hi. I am using VS2003
I had a textbox control in template column inside a datagrid.
When i click Edit botton, i want to show an alert message and focus on that textbox.
i am getting an alert message but problem is with the focus.
How can i focus a control inside a datagrid...

Pass the Client Id from the codebehind to javascript function.Create an element using that client Id. and then do

hi may be this will give you much clear Idea, try this....
DropDownList1.Items.Add(New ListItem("--Select-One--", ""))

Next
