RSS feeds are really cool ... really they are XML files
this is kind of facility using that you can get data from other websites if they provide as a xml file ...
example : if u wanna buy one product what you do ? just search all the website ... really u dont wanna do that ....
if one website provides all the details then u would be well benifited...
RSS feeds helps to share the data through xml format among websites.
Example URL that gives a RSS feeds(xml file) : http:\\msdn.microsoft.com\rss.xml
in this website microsoft provides a xml file that describes microsoft's new announcements....

this is working while loading along with a javascript.
when i goto deafult page,it works with dropdown,
wen moved to ~/About Us/default.aspx not showing dropdown
wat could be pbm.

pbm (assume that means problem) cud (could) be dat (that ) you hv (have) 'inlined' this in the default.aspx HTML and not in the about us/default.aspx. If wat (what) you want is this menu in all pages, look into Master Pages.

hello evryone,
I have a doubt regarding PostBackURL.I take two form in the a ASP.NETWebApplication say Form1.aspx and Form2.aspx.When i redirect Form1 to Form2 the values in the Form1.aspx page r not maintaining like when again i come from Form2 to Form1 the values r not there(i mean the page is postback).
Is there any solution to maintain those values without using session,cookies,application and ViewState.Any canbody help me plz it is urgent for me.

Values won't be persisted, because you moved from Form1 to Form2.

You can keep the values in Session. When posting the page to other ASPX page, you need to create session in other page (form2.aspx) and assign the values. If your Form1.aspx contains many controls, it's better to create a class and assign all the required values to class, and store the class object in session.

Whats the problem in using the state management in your application ,
surely you are not going to use database also ...
one thing could be creating xml file on fly and storing the inforamtion in it but o don't think it is good way of implimentation

use Server.Transfer() instead of Server.Redirect()
The Server.Transfer method also has a second parameter—"preserveForm". If you set this to True, using a statement such as Server.Transfer("WebForm2.aspx", True), the existing query string and any form variables will still be available to the page you are transferring to.
For example, if your WebForm1.aspx has a TextBox control called TextBox1 and you transferred to WebForm2.aspx with the preserveForm parameter set to True, you'd be able to retrieve the value of the original page TextBox control by referencing Request.Form("TextBox1").

Dude i have been saying from yesterday as the whenever you are going to press back,forward,any button and close page unload is going called thats why onbeforeunload event is called before unload event

How it will parse untill you instruct it to do so ? Are you displaying XML tags on an ASPX page ? then <> symbols should be replaced with lt and gt

item1 dropdownlist counting(1 or 2 , it can be any no)
item2 dropdownlist counting

.
.
.
item10 dropdownlist counting
the serial no can go 2 any no.
dropdownlist contains data from the tables realated to the item
how should i implement this thing?

You can bind data in datagrid_rowbound event.
like in this event you will get the value of first cell let us assume it is "item5" now you need to query you DB with that item, after that you can set data source for your dropdownlist.
