Hi!
Let's say I'm building a personal music toplist and want to be able to use freiendly urls to map from http://mysite/artist.aspx?id=12 to http://mysite/artist/madonna.
This works fine using an HttpHandler and catchin the web request.
However what about bands like AC/DC or Simon&Garfunkel? How can I escape the characters "/" and "&" etc.??

hi,
i have a table. and in that i have two rows(trs)
in first row i have two tds .In first td i have a textbox and in second td i have a button named "save"
In second row (tr) i have only one td ........this td consists of a button named "add new row"
if i click on the "add new row " button another row has to be generated dynamically with textbox and button like first row.
how can i do this using asp.net .
2)if click on the save button in the firstrow after entering the some value in the textbox..the valu should go to the database..

You just add them to the controls collection, but make sure you do it before page_load otherwise they won't have any viewstate restored

There are many ways to do one of them is having the asp table at server side
but i don't think it suitable for your application you can do one thing
How many such rows do you have to add in this way ?
if it very few then you can do it simply by using javascript
do one thing add second row initially only but it style should be display=none means it should be hidden by default when you click on add new row then call aj javscript function that will show this hidden row by simply making display="";

Well, if you just want to reload the same image, you don't really need AJAX, just a timer. If you want to change the image, get a new path back and assign it to your IMG tag.

I have one page Which i called from many pages. on cancel button or on Save button i want to go back page from which i have called ..
example:
if i m on Default Page and go to Login..then After Login it should be go back to Default..

You should check the value that you get from the referrer key. Some browsers/routers/antivirus-softare removes the referrer value from the html header, so you should handle the case when the referrer is empty.

Create a CultureInfo object for german, then use that when you convert the value to a string.
When converting a number to a string, a CultureInfo or NumberFormat object is always used. If you don't specify any, the default culture is used.

Please don't write in all upper case. It's tiresome to read.
You have to sort the numerical values. If you convert them to strings and then sort them, they will be sorted as text, not by value.
