Hi Ballita,

For your problem I think using the RowDataBound event of the GridView will be a better idea. While each row is getting bound you can dynamically decide which cols will be visible. You can also do other stuff like clear the content of the cells of that row before binding.

my project require to convert the money from 123 to word,
for example,

1000.10 --> one thousand and ten cent
200.00 --> two hundred.

does visual studio have function to convert it ?

I think that project is for study purpose so that you will learn something from it also that will increase your logical skill

is time consuming if i code the function out, so i hope anybody can share the coding for me or teach me anything and other programmer also can learn too.

You don't fetch any column from tbl_Employee with the name DeptId. The expression dataSet.Tables["tbl_Employee"].Columns["DeptId"] returns null.

In the above statement u r not fetching the column deptid but u r trying to use this in this statement
dataSet.Relations.Add("child", dataSet.Tables["tbl_Deprament"].Columns["DeptId"], dataSet.Tables["tbl_Employee"].Columns["DeptId"]);

Here Columns["DeptId"] returns null

use string empquery="select * from tbl_Employee"

i had made one integer type collection editor in web control library project.
the collection gets displayed properly at design time and i am able to add and remove items also but my problem is that value entered at design time does not effect the control at runtime.

I think you need to use some attributes to persist the collection data. After adding the items through collection editor, are you able to see it again when you click on the collection editor ? If yes there won't be any other problem.
