What you need is some code to read and write to a database - sorry but no one here is going to do all you work for you - buy a book. Amazon sell books - please dont let your next post be "Help needed using amzon to buy book".

Look I am not going to rise to the bait and start arguing. If you need to update a table you use the update SQL command with the columns you would like to update and the clause for which rows you would like to update (if not all).
I suggested you buy a book because if you are working on databases and struggle with the simple things (thats not a dig - every one starts somewhere) then it would be a wise idea to read up on the topic - that way you will be better equipped to make informed decisions about the best way to work with your tables and it will also benefit you in the long term.
As for nervous - I am not sure where you got that from - the only thing I am nervous about is that they let people like you near databases.

I do experience doing autonum in vb 6.0 but it's very complicated much more in vb.net for me. And I'm still a student.... tnx...

hi guys
i am working in dot net 1.1, i am using tab controls in my applications , there are multiple tab pages on that each tab control. i want to disable some of them tabcontrols upon my business logic,but i cannot do that unless it only disables the controls on that particular tab page, but i want the user not able to enter into that tab page,how to to that ?

I don't thnk you can. You can remove tab pages, but not disable them.

you have to rewrite the gina.dll to do anything on that level, and that has to be done in C++. No other code runs before you're logged in, for obvious reasons.

There's an article on this site about creatng animated gifs, I thought. Loading JPGs is no different to any other bitmap format. Be aware that jpeg is 24 bit and gif is 8 bit, so you will lose quality in the process.

i'm using web application, i want to scroll a text in my page & the value is from dbase, but each time the value is different , so for each scrolling the scroll should show the new value. Any idea is appreciated..

You can scroll text with javascript, plenty of examples online. If the value differs, you need to write code to pass the value each time to your script.
