I created a javascript file and called the function in the page_load event with btn.Attributes.Add("onclick", "return validate"); after adding this line my validators are not working. And the control is not entring the .js file at all. what is the reason?

Try calling this way:
btn.Attributes.Add("onclick", "javascript:return validate();");
if not working then post the aspx and js file code.

First be sure you had written this code in your
section
and then try to call submit function in form's onsubmit event like
it will be better to call function here. Because when u call func here it will call it before submitting the data while in buttons click event after submitting data.
I hope it will work fine. Other wise put your code for both file here.

I have created one website on .net 2005 On Local system.now i want to host my website on IIS seever.Wt i tried is i created one virtual directory and Copied al files to that directory then it gives the error page can't be displayed.Then i created new website on IIS and added those files to the website but while executing the website it gives me message unable to start debugging on the server "See ATL server debugging topic".
Wt could be the reason??

Try after re register your framework:
run this command-
C:\Windows\Microsoft.net\framework\v1.1.4322\aspnet_regiis.exe
and also make sure in config file:
<compilation defaultLanguage="vb/C#" debug="true" />

In Your Code,u r not provide the code functionality , What exactly u want ! that is,try to write code for capture first. than save the type as *.*|*.*| by using filter property of save dialog box.

i want to allow my users to create subdomain automatically by entering a specific name and pressing a button.and then when users call his/her subdomain address,my program redirect him/her to specific address.
for example:
a user create a subdomain [USER.mysite.com]
and when he/she call this subdomain i want to redirect him/her to [www.mysite.com/001.html]page.
please help me to do it...or guide me that how to learn it

ASP.NET allows different types of URL Rewriting techniques. But I don't think that you can rewrite a URL like www.subdomain.mydomain.com since subdomain management is upto your service provider. Your domain has to support subdomain facility.

I want to know what are differences between ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Extensions and ASP.Net Atlas
I have a problem that is first I installed ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Extensions in my system and I used ScriptManager, UpdatePanel controls in my project.
But it gave some errors while running the application.
So I checked some other sample applications of my friend, he used Microsoft.Web.Atlas.dll in his project. So I also installed the setup for Atlas. But during installation process, it gave me error that
"Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue. To configure or remove the existing version of the product use Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel."
So is it not possible to have both in the system? Which one is latest (ASP.Net 2.0 AJAX Extensions 1.0 or ASP.NET Atlas July 2006 CTP)
Can anyone kindly help me regarding this? I would be very thankful to you friends.

The Atlas ddl is the beta version of the ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Extension 1.0 (Atlas is the project name)
Therefore you need the ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Extension 1.0.

I think ATLAS is the former code name of ASP.NET AJAX. ASP.NET AJAX extensions are server extensions which provides support for AjaxControlToolkit controls.

ATLAS libraries are obsolete. You can go with AJAX extensions and AJAX toolkit library

To record sound, you need to write an applet that runs on the client side and uploads/captures the voice. Unless Windows Media Player can be made to do it, embedded in the page. There will be no ASP.NET code involved.
