Hi all,
I have an UltraWebGrid in my page wih data. I would like to print the image of grid. I know the window.print() will give the print, but i need the image of grid only. How will i solve this...? any clues...?

Hi, I am a student and i am studying in B.C.A . I am in the last semester. In our last sems we must do a project or a thesis. But i have decided that i will do a project. I have little bit knowledge on C# and Asp.net. I want to build a website using Asp.net as my final project where user can send sms from this website to any mobile number. But i don't know to make it possible what should i need to learn . Would u please help me so that i can make it possible. Thanks in advance.

Basically, you need to find a service that does SMS. Your website will not handle this, because it cannot ( it has no way of talking to the mobile phone network ). Your site will therefore be trivial and probably won't score highly.

Your thingking is good but you have to required SMS Getway for sending SMS using Web Application (ASP.NET C#) or Desktop application.

Any Client who has certain username and password can access this service.
Web service is developed in .Net
Client can be any (might be in .Net or anything platform)
Which security mechanism to use for this?

Already you are using one with user name and password. Then what's the problem ? No product/webservice can be made very secure. What will happen if client shares user credentials with other one ? Will they able to access your service ?

That is not AJAX. it's an implementation of AJAX by microsoft. If he has to start with learning AJAX I recommend http://www.w3schools.com/ajax/default.asp[^]

Navaneeth is right, AJAX is just javascript. However, I assume you're looking for lots of sexy free controls, not to have to write your own. I don't think the MS library works in 2003, but there are other commercial controls that use AJAX, which are backwards compatible, there's no reason in the world for them not to be, you can write AJAX controls with notepad.

I have an procedure downloading data from remote server, but I am running into trouble when the files are to big. I am downloading .jpg and .tif files, and sometimes they can be up to 100 mb. Are there a way to chunk the data before sending it ?
