good day im going nuts about this please help..
i want to display a string (html source) from database and i want it to formatted like this

not like this:

You have to format the source when you are storing it to database and when you are going to print it then use <pre> tag..

replace '<' with '& lt;' and '>' with '& gt;' (without space between & and lt; , & and gt) then use HTML tags I mean like <BR /> etc. to format your string and when displaying use server.encodeHTML(string) or may be server.decodeHTML(string) I don't remember which one to use try using both and see the result

my problem is that I am attempting to create a page with a numericupdownextender. I am creating a kind of time (1am, 2am, 3am... 6pm, etc)so that it goes up and down through it. the problem I am finding is that when I put 1am etc is that it is jumping up in 2s, and doesn't even decrease (like a normal increment should go 1,2,3, this goes 1,3...).
the following is just the snippet for the extender:

I have kept ScriptManager in MasterPage and UpdatePanel in contentpage.My code in content page is as follows:

I am converting my sound file in to mp3 file format using lameShell.however My file get converted into mp3 file but when i want to delete orignal file after conversion it gives me error
"The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process."
pls help me solving this problem

When running my Web project I have a busy browser window for a full minute
and then receive an error reporting dialog that says, "WebDev.WebServer.exe
has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience." My default.aspx page never loads. This just started
happening yesterday while I was working on my Web project. Before that, it
run okay.When i run this project on some one else computer it runs correctly with out error. I also refresh my Window nd VS.
how can i fix that??

I have a dropdown list control on an aspx page that I need to pass the value of to an ascx page that I reference by using get/set. My problem however is after after I "set" the value, it seems to reset itself back to zero when I try to access it again.
Here's my code. I'm using 2 pages (index.aspx & testgridcontrol.ascx:
index.aspx:

I suspect you are bnding the data to the grid every time the page loads. This will reset the value to 0.
