I tried it.But still when i press the back button,the timer runs in a reverse manner..Is there any way to disable the back button..i mean nothing should happen when it is clicked i.e the focus should be lost..Is there any way to do it in javascript...?

Specifically, I want people to be able to submit video from their cell phone (.3gp format), and then I need to programatically convert that format to other formats for display on the web, that is, AVI, MP4, MOV, WMV, MPEG, FLV, Real Video, etc.

In short, it depends on the agency/group, what they want to do with the site. The most common requirement, and that of highest value, on nearly all real estate sites is the listings database and search facility. They will already have a listings database, on paper, in a spreadsheet, or a proper database. One decision is whether to replicate this to your site, or run a direct link between your database and web servers.
Nice to haves are then just a 'contact us' facility, maybe with real time notifications to the agent mandated to the property a site user is interested in.
To get a lot more serious, you could have a closed part of the site where agents can themselves capture new listings, and work with a work flow engine to help with the process of following a sale through from listing, through offer, to registration.

The company I used to work for created a website for a real estate company. The website took several developers a good few months to develop. So, you should know that you are in for a lot of work.

i hav a textbox which accepts only numbers..
and based on the input of that text i hav to display the rows of texboxes..
for ex:
if textbox.text=3 then i have to display 3 rows of textboxes which accepts 3 members name, age etc..

Disabling the Back Button of IE is bad idea as it is of Client browser you should not change its setting .......
If you do it another way i think it will help you more
BTW why do u want to disable both ?

have a table in sqlserver2005 named emp.
where the coloumns of the emp table are as follows.
empid char(3),
empname varchar(20),
empaddrs varchar(20),
empDOB dateandtime,
emp_no varchar(10)
i want to genertae emp_no as autogenertaed sequencitial number.
where the format of the auto genertaed number for emp_no will be - "id-yyyy-nnnn"
where 1st 2 places are the no of his emp_id i.e 01 or 02 like that
2nd four palces are the year of DOB i.e 2001,or 20005 like this
next four places are the numbers i.e 0001 ,0002 like this(it should be sequential number).
example of auto generated number are-0120010001,0219990002, 0320000003.and so on..
how will i generate this type of sequential no in asp .net (backend vb.net.)
when ever i save a record for a particular employee after giving the data in the front end of their corresponding textboxes, the emp_no should be generated in the database and stored in the emp_no coloumn of emp table.
(i know only how to generate auto num.by setting its identity to true.but dont know what to write in the formula filed so that i can genrate the above type of auto generated number)
ya i have taken emp_id as char(3) so that while i entry the value 01 in the front end it should be taken as 01 not1. if i will take emp_id as int then if i input 01 it wil take 1 only. thats why i have taken as char.
No emp_id is not a sequential no..it can be any number..

I would seriously suggest that you re-think your approach to this. Make your empid an autogenerated integer, and then use the ToString() methods to write this with leading zeroes to create an emp_no string

Hi
I am trying to access a dll in asp.net/c# but when i try to initialize the object of the class in that dll, i get the following error:
"Object reference not set to an instance of an object"
I have added the assembly using this line:
using assemblyname;
I am creating object with statement like that:
ReportAccess ra = new ReportAccess(); // i get error on the same line.
Can someone help me please by providing me the solution of that problem or by letting me know why i am getting this error or what are the reasons for that error.

(1) Common mistake when working with code behind classes.
Remember! Codebehinds arn't handled the same way as inline/ pages!
You need to declare EVERY control you want to interact with in the codebehind class
Do this just after the Inherits statement:

That should do it....
Remember, ALWAYS refer to the MSDN Library when enquiring about classes and their initilisation (sp?) methods.... why trust some "1337 script kiddie!" site when you've got the official reference at http://www.msdn.com ? Or better yet, get the compiled version on CD, don't need to worry about long download times or the constant "was this article of any use to you?" screen.

Hi
I'm trying to create a website with a logon screen and two parts, a public area and a member area. The first page will be the public area. The user then clicks login and is directed to a login page which checks logins with a database. Once the user is logged in they need to be directed to a sharepoint site. Here is my problem...I need the Sharepoint site to use the login info from the login page. I would imagine Sharepoint uses session variables to store the login info, does anybody know what these are?
