I have a solution which contains 2 projects VB1 project and C1 c# project.
I have a Class called Class1 in the C1 project which i would like to utilise in VB1.

Although I have no experience with this kind of scenario, nor with C, I have seen similar questions on this forum, and the general gist of the answers was always: compile the class as a dll, and reference it from your app.

Hi,
I have a small project to try and keep our ADSL lines up and running 24/7. At the moment we have firewalls at each of our stores (5 of them) and on at HO. All contected by VPN.
Our problem is now and again the ADSL line seems to drop and the firewalls don't seem to come back up unless we reboot them.
So i'm planing to write a application in VB.NET that will install on the servers and ping a IP address and then when it fails x times it will reboot the firewall. I did try this using a telnet client put got a lot of socket errors.
So i thought what about SSH, so that he plan but i need some adivce on components for SSH. I've found a few that i could pay for but was hoping to find a free one. Anyone got any recommendations?

You would decrypt it in memory, surely ? Why do you need to use a stringbuilder ?

You would need to decrypt it first, then pass the data to the stringbuider.

OK, so you need a string. I'd imagine you'd get a byte array back from a decryption method ? You would use an Encoding class to turn that into a string, depending on if it's Unicode, ASCII, or something else.

It's always urgent, isn't it ?
Your strings are not in quotes, only the LIKE statement is. I assume x is a string, and I assume you know that this code makes your database completely insecure, and easily destroyed by a malicious end user. Look up SQL injection attacks on this site.

Please explain your problem in Detail, you mean to say you want to Update two different table from one command, I think it is not possbile from one line, you have to do it one by one,
Or If I mis-understood your problem, then please explain clearly.

You can't do it within one statement. You can send 2 different statements in one command by putting a semi-colon between them.
Another option is to create a trigger that will update the other table for you in sql server itself...

I've never done the database backup thought code. What we used to do is that we create a job for backing up the database or we did manually.
As this article Perform an MSDE database backup through Transact-SQL mentions, you can create a job in SQL database by using this T-SQL script~
