Yes, that's possible.
When an IP adress is assigned from a DHCP server, there is a time limit. When the IP adress expires, a new one has to be requested. Almost every time the DHCP server will assign the same IP adress again, because that's the most convenient, but there is no guarantee.
From my experience about half of the internet users have IP addresses that changes at least a few times a month.

In my situation, this client's ip address changes everytime she uses our website. I wonder what could be the cause of that?

Best Suggestion is Better buy a book and start reading all the concepts of the ASP and then practice the codes.
If we say you could not able to understand what is what.
SO buy a book and keep on learning and practice the code.

Hello All,
Let me introduce myself. I am a programmer.
I have been implemented encryption algorithm in pure VC++. It is standalone application. It has dialog box for taking source file name (Plain text file) and destination file name (Encrypted text). It is working perfect.
Now I got new requirement that, I have to integrate this algorithm in explorer as toolbar. I created toolbar and integrated my code. Now I have to send some information to server which has been implemented in J2EE. My question is I am which technology I can use to passing information from client VC++ to server J2EE. And also server will send response client has to process.
I have to implement client side program and one of my friend is working in server. He is asking to provide jar file. Can I know how can I do that? Or Can I use JNI or DCOM server? Please suggest me on this.

it should not used the default localid of the system, it should return the locale related to that specified date only

I don't think there is a list of history of "locale id" that you have changed from time to time... you can only get the current locale id.

i m using delegates in vb.net. invoking delegate generates an error tht object refrence not set to an instance at the following line.
_delUpdatetext.DynamicInvoke(aObj)
where _delUpdatetext is a defined as follows.
Private _delUpdatetext As System.Delegate

I have problem with the ImageButton control it doesn't show image that I already set ImageURL property. Actually it work fine on my local machine but after I uploaded to the server it doesn't display the image but it still worked fine with the Click Event.Another image worked fine example background image that has the same folder path.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Do meta tags still work? I have read some articles that say it is out dated.. Or is there a better way to have a web page show up in the top 10 on a search engine?
or could you offer some sugestions?
Also should meta tags be used in only for the index.html or all html docs for a site?

AFAIK, meta tags are still using in webpage. eg: Wordpress blogging software has meta tags in each and every pages.
but the important thing is that meta tag is not going to help your blog or site to get high rank in search engines. if you want to get high rank in search engine, you have to learn about how to drive the traffic to your blog/site, how to promote your blog/site and so on.. there are a lot of resources about this on internet.. you just need to google it.

This is driving me nuts. I have some JavaScript that creates a bunch of named anchors on-the-fly using code like this:
var a = document.createElement("a");
a.name = "my_anchor";
document.body.appendChild(a);
Later on I have some code that will jump to the anchor, e.g.:
window.location = "#my_anchor";
Works fine in Firefox, Opera and Safari. In IE7 nothing happens - it acts as if the named anchor doesn't exist. Anyone ever come across this before?

I managed to reproduce this and have no idea why it doesn't work, theres obviously something fishy going on (well, it is IE after all). To get it to work I had to set the ID of the anchor instead.
a.id = "my_anchor";

I did not understand your question very well, but as i know:
The vb.net is NOT case sensitive. So 'True' is the same as 'true' in vb.net.
Can you post the called vb.net function code ?
