One thing that you can do is Publish your web site that will precompiled code but not directly native CPU code.

If it is then Micrsoft would not be Operating system specific it would run on other than Windows * ...

Hi all,
I'm new bie to Asp.net 2.0. In VS 1.1 there is an folder references in the solution explorer. In that we can add and remove the references what we need.
But in VS 2.0 i couldn't that references folder especially for web projects.
Where can i find them and how to remove them, if i dont need.

In a web project references are placed in the bin folder. I'm not sure if just adding/deleting files from there will work though, you need to use the references part of the project properties to manage them.

If i would like to add system.data dll then i can add it by add reference by right clicking the project in solution explorer.
My questions are
1. where that references has been added and how can view it. (In VS 2003 we can view them in the references folder in the same project in solution explorer)
2. Suppose i would like to remove that system.data dll. How can remove it (In VS 2003 by right click on the dll name we can remove it which is located in the references folder

It is Bin folder i think right click to your project and click on Add reference
and add the dll you wanted to add it will get added in bin folder

Hi, All 
I have a critical problem. I have created a table which is completely dynamic having some textboxs, checkboxs, dropdowns etc. It contains data from database. I stuck when I click on Edit and then Update. The Update button's event handler is not able to access modified data rather it is accessing the old data. I am using c# and asp.net 2.0. I am using user control which contain this table. Is there any way to retrieve modified data from the textbox.
Plz Help me out..

first you must save your changed data to session or some other way in page.
Then in update method use that value so you will get updated value.

Hi kumarjammula,
First of all install this toolkit. You will get new panel in Toolbox. You need to select Ajax enabled website when u will create a new website. Suppose you have one textbox and a button which generate postback event. You need put update panel from the Ajax panel in your webform. Then put the Textbox inside the update panel. write some code which chages the text of the textbox. You will relize not entire the web is being refreshed rather only update panel.
