In one of the article in Code Project,I found (!IsPostBack).
I want to know the difference between (!Page.IsPostBack) and (!IsPostBack).
If they are same then why we are using (!Page.IsPostBack)?

Ispostback means in the time of page load its property is false so in the time of button submission or clicking only its property is true and the page can display
!ispostback means its property default true so in the time of page load the fresh page display automatically..

i have another opinion.
Both are same. No differences!
IsPostback is inherited from Page object(derived).
it is just a programers choice whther he used Page. infront of IsPostback.
eg:
it is same if we include
using System.Collections;
and then use System.Collections.HashTable
or directly use HashTable.

I dont find any difference between this You can use whatever you like.

There is no difference. It's just a short-hand. Same as if you want to refere to a form you can call the form name or this instead of the form name.
Calculations you can go x = x + 10;
or
x += 10;

Just to be precise: the System.Web.UI.Control class has a property named Page, which is meant to be a reference to the page containing the control. Since class System.Web.UI.Page derives from the aforementioned class (though not directly), this property is also inherited. So in case of a page the Page property references the page itself. Therefore this and Page are the same.

Hi
You can use nested DataGrids in this way
1.Add a DataGrid to the page.
2.Go to Property Builder of DataGrid(appear by clicking on the small arrow on the Right side top of the DataGrid,it is called Smart Tag or right click DataGrid and Select Show Smart Tag)
3.In that go to Columns tab and select Templete column then click arrow to add.
4.Give Header text name and click apply and Ok.Your Templete column will appear on the DataGrid as a column.
5.Again select Smart Tag,this time go to Edit Templetes.A single Templete column will appear.
6.Then Drag and Drop another DataGrid onto the Templete column.
This is the way you create nested DataGrids

Hi,
I have a webform where i have a text box and input type=file control.
Now when i select a file from the browse button the path is visible to us at the same the name of the file should be displayed in the other textbox present in the form.
How to achieve this? The question in which event i should extract the name of the file from the path available and assign to the textbox?
