Dear All
How to read a comma-delimited, or some other form of delimitation from a Text file into a Dataset using c#. I want to import data from the text file into database.
Thanx

You can use the Split() method of the string class to get the individual pieces of data from that text.
After that inserting it into database is pretty straight-forward.

Is it possible to convert text to handwriting graphics programatically.
If yes then tell me to start with it.

start with it!!
you'd have to create images with proper letters.. load them into some list and then draw them onto some "canvas" - Graphics of (probably) Bitmap object..
life is study!!!

You could use a label/textbox/... with a script font, i.e. a font resembling handwriting.
Examples: Bickley Script, Blackadder ITC, Brush Script MT, Edwardian Script ITC,
Fine Hand, Freestyle Script, Gigi, and many more.

Hello
How can I export data from excel and import to sql server with c#?
thank you

You can open an OLEDB connection to read the data from Excel. If you are using SQL-Server 2005 then there is a SqlBulkCopy task that allows you to stream-in a DataReader instance.
|
|
|
|
|
|
In that case you will need to set up a SqlCommand instance and execute for each row in the Excel DataReader.

There are fonts that look like cursive writing. HansHand and Monotype Corsiva come to mind.
Try rendering the text with one of these fonts.

MessageBox.Show(Convert.ToString(1/3));
I dont want it to be rounded to 0!

Better to go with double s. If precision really matters (eg: dealing with money) go for decimal .

Hello,
I would inherit my TextBoxSpecial, which has all the features of only accepting numbers or letters. Then give it Property for switching to the mode you whant it to be.
This could be a enum for example:
public enum ModeTextBox
{
numbers= 0,
letters= 1,
}
private ModeTextBox _mode= ModeTextBox.numbers;
public ModeTextBox Mode
{
get
{
return _mode;
}
set
{
_mode = value;
}
}
This property can than be set from your button click event!
Hope it helps!
All the bset,
Martin

I have a user control with a property of type Hashtable. When using a propertygrid control to edit this property at design time, the Collection Editor shows, but all buttons (including the Add button) are disabled.
how to enable the add/Remove buttons for adding entries in hashtable in design time??
Thanks
