OK...
you can set input parameters using 'Arguments' property located in ProcessInfo.
e.g,
<br />
Dim pinfo As New System.Diagnostics.ProcessStartInfo<br />
pinfo.Arguments = "myagr1 myarg2 myarg3"<br />
pinfo.FileName = "C:\MyExe.exe"<br />
Now to read the output from the exe, you need to set
pinfo.RedirectStandardOutput = True
And read the output as follow,
<br />
Dim p As System.Diagnostics.Process<br />
p = p.Start(pinfo)<br />
p.WaitForWxit()<br />
Dim str as string = p.StandardOutput.ReadToEnd<br />

Hi guys,
First time poster be gentle :p.
Iv been playing with Fiddler ( a http debugging util) lately and noticed that CodeProject has no compression enabled. The code project front page shrinks from 53kb to 13kb !!!, that's a huge improvement.
Whats the pro / cons of having compression enabled for a site. Why would we not have compression enabled ?
The only cons I can think of is,
1. Extra overhead to compress content on the servers (codeprojects, 15k online members ?), how would one create a benchmark/test for this?
2. Older browsers not supporting compression?
Been using blowery compression on our back office systems (50-100 users) and its making a huge improvement.

Hello there
I have a DataGrid with the width set as 100% and several individual ItemTemplates controlstyles width set to a fixed size in px. Now I want to set the last one to fill out the rest of the space. I thought the syntax for that was * however that does not work and I fail at google at the moment. Anyone have any ideas?

Don't set width for the last column. think it'll automatically fits into the remaining space...if the earlier columns are of fixed width.

All your user controls generate HTML, at the end of the day. You can create a control which entirely works by emitting HTML if you want to. However, if you want your javascript to call a method in your code behind, you need to use AJAX and set up a page that does this for you, or use ATLAS, and let it handle the details.

Yeah, its weird. It was working just fine before, but after a recompile (no changes to code, mind you), this.Master (or Page.Master, same thing) returns a null. Whats more weird, if I hover the mouse over where I use this.Master, ir returns teh corect thing. However, when I step through the line where I use it, or read its value into a variable, it equals null. Could anyone shed some light on this, or is it completely FUBARed?

Hai all,
HEre i had a problem with message box.When i want to display some message,it is showing msgbox.Means i am able to show the message, and here my problem is----
i have to Redirect to the perticular Form while clicking on OK.(with Response.Redirect("a.aspx"))
Is it possible to do in that manner?
My code for msgbox is

My problem is i have to initilize the project,if any one directly go to the further forms,i have to display the message,And on that msgbox,by clicking on OK he ss redirecting to the first form.
