I am facing problem of counting words for .doc or .txt files.
I am using following methods ,
1.
aDoc = wordApp.Documents.Open(ref fileName, ref missing, ref readOnly, ref missing, ref missing, ref missing, ref missing, ref missing, ref missing, ref missing, ref missing, ref isVisible, ref missing, ref missing, ref missing, ref missing);

Still it is not counting words properly.
Please tell me proper method to count the words in .doc or .txt file correctly.

I have a CrystalReport
i cannot set the displaygrouptree property of my crystalreportviewer.
when i set
crystalreportviewer1.displaygrouptree=true
it does not have any effect.
it always show me the first records report.
for all other records i want to use displaygrouptree.
wht to do.
Initially displaygrouptree property of my crystalreportviewer is true

hi i want to make http Request to a webpage that will take a values of sent query string values and insert them into a SQL DB, ok i did it but i want to know the way of just displaying a response to a client to and display ok on the replied web page, i dont want to add a label and then display OK txt inside its text.
i want to make the user see just only OK work when he right click on the response page and selct view source, just ok word and no any thing else,

You can create a empty page with the text OK and when your process completes redirect the page to this empty page.

hi,
pls help me to find a solution
I have implemented ajax timer in my project,but when we run the app,if we try to access the internet options from tools menu ,the timer event stops from triggering ,then gets back to the same time.So it fails to maintain the time.
so wht could be a better solution,disabling the tool bars or anything else?

Hi all,
I have this problem with my website, when I insert data I get an error Specified cast is not valid.
And this is the source error:

It may be showing you the error becuase you are converting image type to string. which might be the problem that you are facing.

The problem was actually in the code behind. But now I have solved it I was adding: InsertEmpty(); yet I was not supposed But now I'm facing another error after deploying it on server it works properly but when on the client side the user tries to insert data an error occurs:
Exception Details: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException: The network path was not found
Why would this happened.

I have two webpages. In one Page I dispaly List of Products using dataGrid.
When I clicked Product id, I displayed another Page for Edit the product details. After edit when, I clcked the Update botton, I want close this Popup window and Refresh the DataGrid values of Previous Page.

Use javascript parent window properties to refresh the parent page and use window.close to close the page.

If you're not using .NET 2.0, then you're stuck with ArrayList. ArrayLists can be sorted, you just need to provide a function that is used to specify sort order. You can sort them any way you like. MSDN has examples.

Dear All,
I am making web application using Asp.net C#(Visual Studio2005). And Sql server 2005 as a back End.
My question Is it possible to generate report in hindi (language) format( using anything crystal report or report services of sql server) . Every thing will be in English(all master and transaction entry form in english) only thing i want to generate report language be in hindi.
Please suggest me some idea.
