I saw that my son (cm_configbuilder) has been moved in the "codeproject tools" section with a strange formatting style ... did I put something bad when I updated the article  ? Please let me know if you need me to send something missing ...

It loaded for me, but part of the version tree and the comment forum were stuck in a vertically centered column to the right of the main article.

There seems to be some malformed HTML causing the page to render incorrectly on IE. I assume it was moved recently by an editor; you should email submit@codeproject so the editors can fix it for you.

I've sent a new version to submit@codeproject.com. I validated the code using XHTML format. I found a strange floating somewhere ....  ...

Hi,
I'm building an app which parses the "My Articles" page and saves that data into a DB. I intend on making this app usable by any and all CP authors, so I need to take localization into account. If my OS settings indicate that I'm in, let's say, Italy, would the number twelve thousand appear like this:
12.000
as opposed to
12,000
?
Basically, are CP pages localized?

We could but it would take time and I'm not sure of the benifit other than idle curiosity.

Hi All,
A recruiter friend is looking to request a few C# programmers out in Seattle. Is there a job board (I thought there was, but did not see it). If there is none, is it acceptable to recommend a post to the C# board?

Hey Chris,
I have seen posts complaining about quality of articles not being so good as before, and I am concerned because I have seen some poor articles too. But then I see article like this, and I feel very glad that there is CodeProject.
I was wondering if something could be done to encourage people to write good articles - like give award to "best article from first-time author" in each category?

We could have "Best Newcomer Author" awards on a quarterly basis (4 times an year). Excellent suggestion Hans. I second this wholeheartedly

i don't like this idea, simply because i think this will encourage people to create multiple accounts, just to have a foot in the course.
Our Monthy competition is very good, and everybody (even newcomers) have their chance if their write a good article !
now, that's my thought. people, share your feelings !

Excellent idea, and when Chris gets the voting system working I'll vote for it.
the last thing I want to see is some pasty-faced geek with skin so pale that it's almost translucent trying to bump parts with a partner - John Simmons / outlaw programmer

I think the Monthly Competition is sufficiant to encourage people to write good articles. otherwise, trolls will invade CP !
