hi
I want to draw 2 or more circles and determine if they crossed
if they crossed i want not draw the inter section lines

Well, this is basic pythagorus, as far as I can see. There may be better algorithms for detecting circles crossing. In the first instance, work out if the squares cross, if they don't, nothing more complex is needed. Then, it's pythag, unless there's something else out there. But, you need to calculate the points on the circle anyhow, if you want to draw between them ( a call to a flood fill algorithm will fix that, if it's one color circle on a solid background )

CheckOut GraphicsPath class it has some function like path.Contains(point) ,
i am not sure . This is from my old memory.

Two ideas:
1)
point is inside circle if (deltaX)^2 + (deltaY)&2 < radius^2
(deltaX is x difference between point and center of circle)
Similarly two circles intersect if (deltaX)^2+(deltaY)^2 < (rad1+rad2)^2
which is the cheapest way of saying distance between both centers is less than sum of both
radii.
In both cases there is no need to calculate a square root, which is rather expensive.
2)
I am not sure what you want to achieve exactly.
Maybe you want a white background, and N circles, each filled with its own color.
Areas covered by multiple circles would remain white.
If so, and performance not too important, you might create two nested for loops
(over x and y) so traversing all points, and test whether pixel is inside zero, one or more
circles (using first idea).
A first optimization would be to have only one for loop (varying y, so calculating one
"scanline" at a time), and for each scanline calculate the intersection points of that
line with each of the circles, sort these, then determine again inside zero, one or
more but now for each line segment.

When N circles intersect the intersection area disabled and the circles be as one shape(just with closed boundery of the circles)

For testing a NMS (network management system) , we need to create virtual networks of different types having different devices such as WinXp machines, printers, scanners etc.
There are softwares available to do this, but we want to develop our own.
Any hints on what needs to be done ?? 
i mean how can i create virtual systems by writing some code ?? which dlls , which APIs etc ??
If you know it , Please help !!!

The best solution of this problem, that i know(understand) this problem, using C# and components of .NET (2.0 or 1.x) such as System.Net; System.Net.Sockets - this tool's make's very shortly time_develop!
Read about that in MSDN!;)

hi all,
I had develop a user control to display chart in real time without flickering(using buffered Graphics).Now i am facing problem that the graphics(chart) will erase when the prompt box move over the area of display chart. My question is, how can i prevent chart from erase when prompt box move over it?
May be my question is abit confusing, if anyone would like to give me a hand to slove this problem, i will send you a exe file to test the problme(please give me yours email add).

I have a generic Cancel button on my form. Various bits of code tell the button what to do when clicked, by setting a handler for that control.
When a new handler is set, I'd like to remove the old handler. How can my code detect the handler for any given control, so that I can remove it?
The button has a "no handler" state, too, where it currently has no function. So, I can't just stomp the control with a new handler every time, I need to be able to remove it, too.
So - how do I "get" the handler for a specific control?

The only things you can do to an event are add or remove a handler (with += and -=);
I know of no way to read or clear it directly.
So the only solution I can see is you remember what got added in another object,
such as an ArrayList, in order to undo it at will.

That's MS, not me I believe.

The latter, the += really means "add listener".
BTW: A common mistake is adding the same handler over and over, and not noticing
it now gets called multiple times. (Not for a KeyPress of course, but for things such
as Focus)

Also check out the RemoveHandler method.

I believe you are confusing VB and C#. There's no RemoveHandler that I can see for C#.

Well, yes there is, but it is in System.Web.UI.Control
not in System.Windows.Forms.Control
and I am not familiar with it.

I'm confident there is no RemoveHandler method for Windows.Forms.Controls for C#, since it uses the "-=" syntax to do this.
And there's no topic "Defining an event" in MSDN...
However, if there's a list maintained somewhere of all of the handlers, I would love to know more about this. Can you provide some data here?
